The shorts are comfortable and look good. They are somewhat form fitting, so everyone will know if you go commando in them. That does not mean they restrict movement, they do not (unless you buy the wrong size). The zip pocket for your phone is subtle when empty. I only put my phone in it once to see how it would fit. I have yet to exercise with the phone in the pocket though. My phone did sit nicely and did not interfere with my ability to walk comfortably. As with other garments from this company, be sure you follow the instructions for washing and drying the shorts on the tag. It says to use low heat when drying. I drape mine over the side of the laundry basket and position it in front of the dryer while it is drying the other clothes. I would imagine this works with the basket on top of the dryer was well. OK! Here’s what you need to know about these shorts. First of all, they are comfortable. They are made of high-quality lightweight fabric with a moderate level of stretch to them. I personally don’t recommend you try to stretch into the shorts, just order the right size. I’m 6 foot 225 pounds. I typically wear an XL but I ordered a 2X because I like extra space in my shorts. If you like a more close fit, they are true to size. Order them accordingly. The inseam is sufficient for you to have movability in these shorts, which is another reason I like them. The waistband is such that there is an additional amount of space for those guys with big waist and little legs. But I don’t skip late day. If you don’t skip like that either, I would also recommend you order a size up. If you are a boxer, were you trying in any style of fighting, these shorts are excellent for training because they are breathable, lightweight, and moisture wicking. What a bang for your buck! These will work as swim trunks in a pinch, but if that is your intent; order them true to size for sure. All in all, this is a five star product you can be proud to own a few pair of! These are really nice workout shorts. The material is very light and soft. It has 2 ample regular side pockets, plus a zippered pocket that is large enough to easily hold your cell phone. I have played numerous games of pickleball in these shorts, and they are quite flexible, not hampering my movement in any way. The only negative I see is that because the drawstring is round instead of flat, it has a tendency to untie itself over time. Using a double-knot seems to address that problem. Read more
