I like this light! It came well packaged so there was no broken glass to deal with upon delivery and unpackaging. I love the modern look of this light, the globe is attractive and a good size. I don't know about the brightness yet, but I'll assume it is on par with other lights in it's class and when combined with the brighter LED bulbs and clear glass globe it should be a nice bright light. I also really like the brushed nickel look and when combined with the globe results in an attractive set up. The overall quality is good and it feels like it should hold up for years to come. I ordered this semi-flush mount ceiling light to replace a dated one in my bathroom. I've quite particular and looked at over 200 ceiling light fixtures before finding this one and immediately knew it was what I was looking for. Had no issues with install, able to do it by myself in less than 30 minutes and a ladder. All parts were included. The light takes a single bulb up to 60W. I currently have an LED "daylight" bulb equivalent in it for extra brightness. The fixture is really lovely and I've had multiple guests compliment how well it looks and fits my bathroom decor. It distributes light well and lights up the entire corner of my bathroom. I'm very happy with this ceiling light and would absolutely recommend it if this is your style. Read more

I ordered this light fixture as a replacement for the existing one in our half bath, and it worked out very well. The product photograph is a good representation of what I got in the package, so if you like the picture, you'll like this light. Plenty of foam was used in the packaging, so barring really bad handling by your delivery person, you should get an intact light fixture. The metal finish was nice, with no scratches or blemishes, and the finish on the globe was consistent all the way around. The bulb socket was actually glazed porcelain, so screwing the globe retaining nut onto the fixture was easy and smooth. Installation was easy, and took me about 5-6 minutes, including removing the old fixture. The mounting hardware included with the light was of good quality, with plenty of room for adjustment in the mounting studs to deal with different J-box depths and mounting hold configurations. Even the included wire nuts were pretty good; big enough to allow for single 12 gauge wires being attached to the leads. The only thing keeping this light from a fifth star is the globe thickness. My goodness, but this thing is thin. If you fumble it while you're doing the install, it would break very easily, even if it only fell a short distance. Thankfully, I didn't drop it, and once it's up, you'll be fine, but be careful getting it there! The bottom hole in the globe is plenty large enough to allow for bulb changes without globe removal. All in all, a good fixture with lots of good features to recommend and very few negatives to discuss. Read more

What an upgrade! Before: average, builder grade dome light in the hallway. After: classy, hallway jewelry! What a difference! I love the frosted glass which is complimented by the brushed gold hardware; it enhances the whole look. The delivery was well packed, no loose screws or hardware. Installation directions were clear and simple. It was an easy install; I should have timed it because I'm sure it was just a few minutes to swap the lights. You'll want to take into consideration that the base for this light is 4.7" so if you're swapping it out with a flush mount or base larger than that you'll need to check that the ceiling surface is finished similarly and also unblemished. My ceiling currently has the "popcorn" texture which was flattened out under the larger flush mount and this was in addition to the ring of dirt/dust that was challenging to clean off underneath. In the past I've also saw that color can be slightly different too. With that said, I thought to share you can use a ceiling medallion (pictured with my light) that makes it an effortless transition; it can also flatter and emphasize the overall appearance (in my opinion anyhow). It pretty much looks exactly like it looks in the pictures in that it is elegant looking light that is made for high ceilings in a room that is not too big. The finish on mine is a very nice brushed nickel that compliments the white ceiling very nicely in the walk in closet. The lamp is overall made very nicely, but the glass shade is a bit fragile feeling. You definitely don't want this on a low ceiling. The Installation was a pretty straight forward flush mount with everything included in the package. Read more

This is a clean and modern light fixture that is sized nicely for hallways but could be used in other spaces. This light has a brushed nickel finish and clear glass. The quality is good and as expected for this type of light. The clear glass allows for use of Edison style bulbs for a more farmhouse look. I didn't have one for the photo but it would be a nice addition to the light. It was easy to install and definitely upgraded the hallway! The price is very good when compared to the cost at home centers for similar products. Read more
