The supplied connections are easy to understand and thoughtfully designed to make them easy to work with. The included instructions help make sense of the connections for different strand types. The easy integration with the Tuya app was what sold this item for me. I have found that to be a practical and easy way to add smart home products to my Home Assistant instance. I usually avoid app control if it means using a single app for each product, but for this item it works. The remote is a little iffy. It tries to pack a lot of features in a very compact interface. It is easy to use but for choosing a color it is not the more effective. There isn't enough room on the scale to really choose from the many color options that your light strip can offer. In that respect, the app is easier to use. This is a great value for a product that let's you easily and quickly add a light strip to your smart home. Read more

I’ve used BTF lighting products before, so I grabbed this controller when I lost the original one for my RGBW LED strips. Even better, this one is a smart controller, whereas the old one wasn’t. I was able to connect it to Apple HomeKit. It doesn’t connect natively, but by using Tuya and HomeBridge, the integration works beautifully and gives me control right from the Home app. The color accuracy and flexibility are excellent and you can fine tune hues and effects really well. One of the coolest parts is that it also comes with a handheld controller, so you don’t have to rely solely on the app or HomeKit if you don’t want to. That adds a ton of convenience for quick adjustments when you’re near the strip. I recommend this controller for its great functionality and value for the price. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this LED strip setup for a few days now and overall, I’m impressed by the build and how it handles solid‐color lighting. The materials feel good; the adhesive has held well on the surface I mounted it on, and the strip’s brightness is consistent and clean. When I set the light to a basic color (like warm white, blue, or red), it looks excellent. No flicker, no obvious color shifts, and it adds a nice ambient glow to the room. That said, there are a couple of limitations that keep it from being a top-tier pick in my book. Most notably: it lacks controller support via the WLED app, so you cannot integrate it into your existing “smart lighting” ecosystem or use custom animations. Also, the remote only supports static color changes, but not complex animated effects. So if you were expecting fancy color-movements, chases, music sync, or full segment control, you’ll be disappointed. Better instruction manual for how to mount, troubleshoot remote, etc. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a reliable LED strip light that looks great in static/mood lighting and you don’t need full smart animations or app integration, this is a very good value.
