I love maxi skirts, and my biggest issue is that they tend to run large and a little too long, but I'm happy to say this one fits great. I'm 5'5" and typically wear between an 8-10 in dresses, so I went with the medium per the sizing chart, and I LOVE how it fits. Even while barefoot, the hem is above the floor, which I love! The overall fit is snug but comfy thanks to the elastic waistband, and it's super soft. It's thin enough for warm weather but doesn't feel cheap. The colors are true to the pictures in the listing, very vibrant and perfect for summer. And best of all, it has pockets! I haven't washed it yet, but I'm grateful that the washing instructions are super easy and it doesn't require any extra attention. I absolutely love this skirt. The material is beautiful, the lining is thick (this is the best lined skirt I've ever worn), and the little upturned ruffles really add to the uniqueness/femininity of the skirt without being over the top. I had my doubts about the sizing, but the chart is spot on; I am so glad I ordered based on the chart and not my normal size. It is actually a bit loose on me, so I'm very pleased that I didn't size up. It was a bit hard to tell from the product picture what color shirts will match the flowers. But in reality, you have a lot of flexibility. A lighter or darker green or purple will work. I was afraid you'd need a very specific shade. The center of the flowers is white, so a white top will work, too. I don't think this skirt is limited to summer use, as the material and lining are plenty thick. With the darker color of this fabric, it will work well for any time of the year. This is especially true since you can pair this with lighter or darker purple or green tops. In spring or summer, you could go pastel. In winter, you can use darker shades (while the true colors of the flowers are lighter, against the darker blue background it creates a bit of an illusion, so darker purple and green work). In general, I love BTFBM pieces, they have never disappointed me, and this skirt is exactly why I love this brand. This is an incredibly beautiful skirt, the material is flowy but weighty at the same time, so that it doesn't feel cheap at all. It is lined and the little ruffle on each tier gives it a flirty and feminine vibe. I ordered the red and pink floral, and it is so stunning, it would look good on literally any complexion. I love how versatile this skirt is: it could be paired with a t shirt and cowgirl boots for a laid back vibe, or a halter and heels for going out. It runs true to size so refer to the size chart. This skirt has been the first skirt I've felt truly comfortable in for close to a decade. It's beautiful, flowy, and comfortable. There's an interior lining so you don't have as much to worry about in back lighting. I wear a size 10 in US Jeans, but can squeeze into an 8 if needed. The Large in this skirt fit me perfectly. It is a snug elastic but it also has a lot of easy stretch to it. The length is somewhat adjustable if you just wear it higher or lower on your waist, but wearing it at the height I usually wear my jeans, it fit perfectly lengthwise. Just long enough to brush the top of my feet. Long enough to be full length, but short enough you don't have to worry about it dragging in the mud or slush. The contrast between the black flowers and the white background is well done without any blurring or bleeding. Oh, and as an added bonus? Easy care instructions! Machine wash warm and tumble dry low. Even better. Much to my shock, I would genuinely be okay and comfortable wearing this all day and if I return to the office, this would definitely be part of my office wardrobe. I love it. It's currently going for about $35 and I feel that's a pretty good price for the quality and comfort of this skirt. This one, I'm thankful to have been able to try and I'm happy to recommend it.
