I was skeptical despite the great reviews, but this dress is actually really nice! I like that the straps are adjustable, so I was able to make sure it’s not too low. The color is gorgeous and true to the pictures. The fabric is very light and gauzy, but it’s fully lined, not sheer at all. I store this flat, not hanging up, to avoid stretching it out. I also wash it in a mesh bag and air dry it flat. It’s pretty wrinkle resistant, but I do steam it. I would avoid ever using an iron on it at all. I’m 5’5, size 16 in a-line dresses like this one. The xl fits me perfectly. It’s maxi length on me. I could totally see layering a thin turtleneck underneath and you’d be completely covered if that’s the modesty level you wear. I bought this dress in a size XXL to wear to two summer outdoor weddings in one day, and it was absolutely perfect! For reference I am 5’7” 207 lbs. The fit was true to size and very flattering I’m curvy, and the cut draped beautifully without clinging or feeling heavy. The vibrant blue floral print is even more striking in person and photographed so well. I paired it with cream-colored shoes and a matching cream pashmina, with silver jewelry and the whole look came together beautifully. I felt elegant, comfortable, and confident the entire day. The fabric is lightweight but not flimsy, and it moved nicely in the breeze without blowing around too much. It also stayed comfortable in the heat, which was a big plus. This is a beautiful dress. I paired it with a 3/4 sleeve blue shrug. I questioned the description and quality of the fabric, no questions necessary. The fabric is light weight, flowing, and vivid color. The fit was perfect, there is quite a bit of stretch in the fabric, that gives an added level of comfort. I'm 5' 2" and wear a size 8, I bought a medium. I would perfer the length to be couple inches shorter, as the dress tends to get under foot, even when wearing a medium height heel. I thought the price was on the high side, but well worth it. I will buy this dress in another color. Four stars, because the length compromises functionality. Read more
