TRUE MAXI - although I still want a floor length(w/o heals this will be).. ME: I’m 5’4” 118lbs purchased a MEDIUM. The Satin Charmeuse- this is a great dupe of a heavier weight Silk material that’s 4 times the price. I can wear a small but prefer the skirt hang as if a tad big but still shows my curves. I wouldn’t wear a real SILK skirt tight. Color: this is “champagne” colored for BTFBM and their interpretation of the color is a bit more peachy than leaning tan for this champagne golden tone. I’m buying several colors as this skirt as it’s more versatile than the one with a drawstring. Altho I like those and will keep one, it’s a more casual look and commitment. I can downplay this to casual but it’s harder to make a casual look, elegant. Like when a sweatshirt has a hood, it’s usually commited to a casual look. Make sense? This is also a fabulous price for quality. Did I mention another nod to QUALITY is that this waistband elastic is nicely enclosed and sewn in,,rather than exposed, as in other manufacturers elastic waistband. I’ve tried several on Amazon- some less expensive (too thin). Everything about this skirt is perfect. Nothing screams inexpensive or bargain, although it is. You won’t regret BTFBM’s quality design and finished. The flattering cut and generous flow of the satin is rich looking. I know this will wash like a dream! I know I said this about the pure white BTFBM skirt BUT I have to repeat how comfy this is. Yes, a drawstring can be loosened (to the point the skirt falls off!) but I’m not feeling tightness that some elastic can be on my waist. Day to eve- this is a winner. Easy to steam or iron the wrinkles - I don’t mind a few wrinkles since it’s a signature of a natural fabric. Still debating which champagne COLOR will work best for moi. Love love love these skirts!! Have two so far! Very comfortable, flattering, the material is thick, but not too thick and hot. Purchased an XL and fit great! It was easy to spot clean, got a little wet and dried well. Have not washed in a washer. So far, they seemed durable, no obvious nicks or run in the fabric. I love that you can style them differently, they’re just super cute and so comfortable! Read more
I am so impressed with this skirt! When it arrived, it had a few wrinkles, but I was able to steam them out in just 10 minutes and it looked perfect. The quality is amazing—it feels thick and durable, not cheap or flimsy like other similar skirts I’ve gotten from Amazon. I love that it’s fully lined, which makes it feel high quality and not see-through. I did wear a pair of nude Spanx shorts just to be safe, but honestly, the lining does an excellent job. I love this skirt so much that I want one in every color! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a well-made, stylish skirt. Read more
I really loved this skirt, but sadly, I found that it had a couple of snags in the material close to one of the seams, so I’m going to send it back. I may re-order, as it appeared to be well-sewn, and the color was gorgeous.. I found the waistband very comfortable, and I think the thicker elastic band allows for a smoother non-muffin-top fit. The tulip-shape hem is lovely. There is some mild stretchiness, but only enough for comfort and not enough to account for ordering too small of a size. I didn’t really find the material see-through, but it will require the use of shapwear underneath for best appearance. (I was not wearing shapewear in these pictures.) Do not expect this skirt to be warm, as it is midweight satin type material. I totally would’ve kept the skirt if it hadn’t been damaged. Read more
Skirt is beautiful but packed solid in a plastic sealed clear envelope and it was pressed so. tightly it wrinkled badly. I didn't want to take a chance and iron it. Read more
Nice maxi skirt. Color is true sage and material is not too light or too heavy. Can be worn Spring through Fall and maybe even early winter. Fits true to size as well. I only gave it three stars because it is not as long as pictured on the model. I'm 5'6" and it hangs about 3"-4" above my ankles. Also, the fit is not as sleek, the side seams are somewhat noticeable but not to much. It doesn't have much of a flow to it but is comfortable. Beware though, it water stains very easily. I accidentally got water on it while ironing and it left an outlined stain. When I tried to wash it away the stain just got bigger once it dried. Kind of reminds me of curtain material. It's definitely not silk, perhaps a mix of satin and other. I was planning to purchase it in other colors but now not so sure. I have to wait and see how it washes. Read more

Great skirt. Fits my hips and waist well. My only thing is the length. It’s not quite a maxi or midi. It’s something in between. It’s not a bad thing, just unexpected. I will buy more colors. The quality is great. I purchased others and this is the better of them. Read more
