I ordered this gaiter to hold my hair back, versus as a traditional neck gaiter. For me, this worked perfectly! As a new mom, getting a shower and washing my hair has been a challenge, so on days where I don’t have time to do anything with my hair, I top bun it, and use this as a headband. What I like about it is that I can make it long to cover more of my greasy scalp, which doubles to keep my ears warm, or I can shorten it up, and cover the tips of my ears, and part of my head. Both ways help to catch sweat from rolling down my face when we are outside walking or hiking. I really appreciate that it is SPF 50 so that it protects my ears and forehead, plus it doesn’t slip and slide all over, it stays put, which is nice considering how thin the material is, making it breathable yet absorbent!
