The older you get the more darn pills you have to take and the more likely you are to forget what you have and haven't taken for the day. So I got this and it's so easy to load, it fits all my big ole pills - I take 15 pills per day, 8 in the morning and 7 in the evening. some of them are huge. Bonus good things: very colorful, each day is a different color making it easier to tell the difference. Large lettering makes it easy to read. The days are in the correct order. Easy to open and close. CONS: I wish they had a locking feature for when you travel so they don't accidentally get jostled and open on their own. I’ve had this for 5 years and it’s held up great. I love the large. I actually don’t use them for night and day pills like originally planned. I use them for 2 weeks of pills. I like that I could move the lids so I could change the order of the “2nd week”. I like also that I can separate the containers and take one week of the pills for trips. It makes this very handy. I love this pill organizer. One little push on the white lever and the lid pops open easily. The individual compartments hold all my pills. This is a fine pill container. I saw the photos but didn't appreciate how absolutely huge it is. It is bigger than a paperback book, so this is not really the size for travel, unless you have that much space in your bag or need the size for a very large quantity of daily pills or lots of large pills (this would never fit into a men's shaving kit with room for much of anything else). Recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder coinciding with my husband and my decision to take care of my aging grandmother. Full-time, we live, eat, have fun and learn together. This pill case is extremely practical, bright & fun in its rainbow tone, and very easy to organize. With my own disorder, I prefer to take many supplements to support and heal my autoimmune system along with my daily meds. With all my fish oils and the general "large" stature of many supplements, fitting them in this case has never crossed my mind because it's never been close to an issue. For grandmom, this pill case has already been so useful in an entirely different way than pure storage capacity. We've started out by using simply the day of the week we're on instead of the whole pack. In the morning, this reminds her of what day of the week it is, as we've found that one of her main struggles. I was looking for a pill box, larger than what I was using, to hold about 14 pills that I take each day. About five of them are large pills (say about the size of a Tums tablet) and I wanted my new pill box to be able to hold all of them without squashing them or having the lid pop open or having to store the extra pills which didn't fit in their bottles on the counter. Well, ,this, to me, is the ultimate pill box. Each compartment is secured with a push button tab, the lid pops up and it's easy to fill all the compartments at one time. There are 7 pastel colored compartments, one on top, one on bottom secured in a tray underneath. If you'd like to pop up all connected 7 compartments for, say, a week's use, just push your finger through the hole in the bottom of the tray and the 7 compartment unit releases easily. I store this one on the counter and put the other compartments in the tray in the closet. Being able to remove a week's worth of pills for a trip is a benefit.
