I have become a huge proponent of collagen peptides. I'm a 54-year-old dude, with an active regimen of daily vitamins and supplements, plus skincare. It's nothing hardcore for either. Multi, C, Bs, Ds, calcium, fish oil. For skincare, a night retinol, and then a simple eye cream in the morning. That's it. Minoxidil has helped reverse a little hair loss quite nicely. But adding collagen peptides?? WOW!! After a month and a half or so, I started noticing when I looked in the mirror. Then about three months in, my wife and multiple other people said my skin looked really good. My wife started staring at me occasionally, almost surprised. "Seriously, your skin looks radiant!" It really does. I feel like it's taken at *least* 5 years off my face. She's only in her early 30s, but my wife has started using it, too. And we each only do ONE scoop each day, which is half a full dose. If I did a full two scoops per day, I'd probably become Benjamin Button! BETTER YET --- while the night serum and morning eye cream and the minoxidil are effective, I recognize they're really just topically treating symptoms like fine lines, hair loss, etc, externally. Collagen peptides are working systemically from the inside out. They're actually reversing the effects of aging so I'm not just looking, but I'm feeling younger! I can definitely see it in hair growth as well. I hate bothering with haircuts, so I let it get pretty bushy between cuts. When it gets long, it was historically kinda flat and didn't look great. This last time, my wife kept running her fingers through my hair and marveling at the difference. We were both surprised how much thicker and fuller my hair has been. I can only imagine the effect it's having on the rest of me, like organs and joints. I definitely feel healthier overall. If you want to try it out, go for collagen PEPTIDES, not just collagen supplements. My basic understanding is that if you take straight collagen, your body has to do a lot of work to break it down to turn it back into collagen. Collagen PEPTIDES are the building blocks that your body can much more easily absorb right away and use to build collagen. This one is a great product at a good price. I shop around and look for sales. You should, too. Hope this was helpful, and hope it works as well for you as it did for me. Read more

Since I am getting older and my hair is getting thinner, I figured that adding collagen peptides to the diet would not be a bad thing. I have tried other supplements that had collagen peptide as an ingredient but this was the first time to use a 100% collagen product. Let me start by saying that this was one of the most full bags I have ever received. Most supplement in bags or bottles seem to be 1/3 air but this one was totally full. I weighed the bag and it was 11.7 ounces. So minus the scooper plus bag material, the net weight of 10.58 ounces looks completely legit. The expiration date on this bag was 7/13/2027 so seems fresh with a ton of shelf-life left. Opening the bag, the powder was loose but looked more grainy than I expected. One of my pet peeves is supplements that don’t fully dissolve, and grainy typically means clumping. Fortunately, I was completely wrong in this instance. I added 1 scoop to exactly 8 ounces of cold water and stirred for about 30 seconds. At this point it was about 98%+ dissolved but had some stringy, while floaters. I stirred for another 30 seconds and even these dissolved. The “no taste, no odor” claim is essentially true. If you gave me two glasses, one with and one without the collagen, I could probably tell the difference if tried, but this is more based on mouth-feel than taste or odor. Mixed in a smoothie or something with flavor and there would be zero chance I could tell the difference. The only thing I did not like about the product is that it says “Packaged in the USA” but gives no indication where the ingredients actually come from. I looked on the website and it also does not list the origin. I normally would take a star away for this but still going to give this a 5-star since everything else was great and expect I will be purchasing more of this product in the future. Overall, seems to be a good product at a competitive price. Read more

The media could not be loaded. My mom has been wanting something simple to support her hair, skin, nails, and joints without taking multiple supplements and she prefers powders she can mix into her morning drink, so when I got this collagen peptides powder for her, this seemed like a good fit. This product states that it contains 100 percent pure hydrolyzed collagen peptides with no added fillers or extra ingredients. Each serving delivers 10 grams of collagen, which is a solid amount compared to others we looked at. I had done some reading before choosing it, and hydrolyzed collagen is broken down into smaller peptides so the body can absorb it more efficiently. Collagen itself is a structural protein that supports skin elasticity, nail strength, hair structure, and joint comfort. Since natural collagen production decreases with age, supplementing it made sense for her. She mixes one scoop into her morning coffee or sometimes into a smoothie, and it dissolves quickly without clumping. It does not change the taste of her drink, which is very important because she does not want her coffee tasting different. After consistent use, she says her nails feel stronger and are not breaking as easily. Her skin also looks smoother and a bit more refreshed. She feels good knowing she is supporting her joints as well, especially since she stays active and walks daily. The container is 10.58 ounces and provides 30 servings, so it lasts about a month when taken daily. A scoop is included, which makes measuring easy and convenient. She appreciates not having to guess portions. Two small suggestions she would make. First, the scoop tends to settle deep into the powder when first opened, so it takes a little searching. Second, it would be helpful if the packaging included slightly more detailed information about collagen types included in the peptides. Even with those minor points, she is very happy with this collagen powder and plans to keep it as part of her supplement shelf. Read more
