It is a thick belt but not overly stiff; already softening. The buckle is solid and the celtic belt pattern makes it dressier. Price was worth it; buying multiple cheap belts costs more in the end. The leather is quite thick and hard, about 2x times the normal size leather belt. I usually like to use the 3rd or 4th hole of the belt, but because of my growth sideways I use the 2nd hole. The belt buckle looks and feels durable as well. The problem I had with my previous leather belt was not acknowledging my growth and insisting on using the same hole. Over time my buckle broke from the stress and was not able to find a replacement. This design is similar to the one I have which was bought over a decade ago that had a Celtic design on burgundy leather from Ireland during a St. Patrick's day promotion. Appears to be very high quality. Feels thicker than I thought, but that's fine. Comes with a strong leather oil/conditioner smell. I'm sure it's necessary to condition and soften the leather. I was worries it might stain pants, but it didn't. But I mostly wear it with jeans, so it's be hard to notice anyway. Remember to measure yourself first for proper fit.
