Very nice watch! It feels good with a bit of weight to it but not too much. It was a bit big for my husband but he is a skinny guy, nothing that cant be solved by removing 1-2 links to the strap. A nice big chunky watch that looks more expensive than it is. I love the overall look of the gold vs the blue face, just looks and feels like a good quality watch. Easy to read in the daytime. The only problem is I don’t love the fit or the way the metal bracelet feels on me — it feels a bit too tight but f I remove one more link it’s too loose. But I guess I’ll get used to it. YES it has Luminous Hands — but they need to “charge up” in sunlight or strong light before they will glow in the dark. To be honest they’re a bit dim and not real easy to read unless it’s very dark, but they do work. Also, all of the hours on the face have a luminous dot except for the 3 (because that’s where the Date is). Unfortunately the analog numbers on the Date is so small they’ve very difficult for my middle-aged eyes to read. But sometimes I use reading glasses when I’m tired or if I have to read a very small font, so if you can easily read an 8 or 10 point font without glasses this probably won’t matter to you. It would be better for more if there were a little magnifier over the Date, though. This watch comes with all of the links in it if you order it from Amazon, which means you’ll have to take it to a Jeweler or buy a Watch repair kit to adjust the band to fit. But it’s easy to do yourself once you watch some videos and figure out what you’re doing. Some links have little arrows on the side and those are the ones you can easily remove. Be sure to take note of the direction of the arrow because they tell you which way the pin goes in and out. Note that the two sides of the pins are different: one side fits a tiny screwdriver. You can also hammer them in or out (if you do it in the right direction) without a screwdriver — but you’re probably better off using a screwdriver since there’s less chance of damaging or scratching anything. Note: Bulova used to be an American company but the Japanese bought it. Not sure if this was made in Japan or not but I expect this was well made. Not sure how well the fake gold finish will last, but so far so good. Read more
