These pants are so great. Why would anyone need fireproof pants? I don't care these are fireproof, I'm not a welder anymore, and I have to use an entire arc-flash suit when closing high voltage breakers. Nomex is very comfortable, hangs well, breathes, and wicks moisture. To boot all of the comfort, the durability means you will get years of use unless you really screw something up bad. These have excellent abrasion resistance. My only gripe is the size... These things run seriously small in the waist. Length is fine, but you should get about 2 or 3 sizes LARGER than what you need. I think these only come in even sizes, so a safe bet would be 4 sizes large (yes, you read that correctly). I wear 34, and 36 in this brand is uncomfortably tight. I will get 38 on my next order. Fits really great was a little longer than I expected also be mine full of how you wash it because the color can fade really quickly Read more
Needed new station pants for work. My department requires Nomex as part of our uniforms and I have purchased Flying Cross over the past 12 years but these were on sale so I thought I would try them. WASTED MY MONEY. First pair came in and they seemed thin and rough, and they were too small. So I thought... no problem, I'll send them back and size up, no big deal. Next pair fit great, although they didn't feel as refined as Flying Cross. The fabric was coarse and stiff and you can see through it, but I thought the first wash would help soften the feel. All you have to do is look at the pictures and know these are terribleand I mean TERRIBLE. The description says "Permanent seam" - uh... WHERE? These came out of the wash and were hung up and were so wrinkled my wife asked me what was wrong with them as she's never had any issues like this with my Flying Cross Nomex. The Flying Cross usually last me 2+ years of duty (working 24hr shifts) and never, I mean NEVER have to be ironed as they come out of the wash wrinkle free and the seam is very prominent. NOT the case with these Bulwark pants. The fabric is so thin and poor quality feel that I would say these pants won't last 6 months, and I'm going to have to iron them after every wash??? Not going to happen. I'll just donate them and buy Flying Cross again. Frustration and disappointment don't begin to express how I feel about their product. Now I've got to spend another $180 to get quality Nomex pants. So here's a quick overview... Value for money - neutral Comfort - thumbs down Size - thumbs down Material quality - two thumbs way way down Weight - thumbs down Trust these under my bunker pants in a fire... NO WAY!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BULWARK! Read more

Really nice pants. Much softer than most Nomex pants and hold color with no fade. We will be purchasing several large orders for our fire departments. hope to be able to negotiate a even better price. Read more

I paid $120 for used pants. I'm super annoyed. I wouldn't be as annoyed if they had been tried on once and returned but they had already been hemmed around their ankle and seam ripped to let out the length. So as I was hemming them for my husband I noticed this old hem line. It's clear they have been hemmed before. I am not okay paying $120 for pants with a bad hem job line. Read more
