Getting old sucks, but of course the alternative isn't that great either! But I'd noticed as the years go by that my skin changed to be a lot drier than it was when I was younger. I also noticed increased allergies and sensitivities to products I've been using for many years. So I decided to start making my own body butters. It's released the "mad scientist" in me and I enjoy whipping up various blends of exotic butters and oils which I give out as little gifts to neighbors, family and friends. It's an expensive hobby though, but I enjoy it and everyone raves about how good their skin feels. The 2 oz capacity is perfect for a little gift; the jars are high quality and contain an inner sealer lid in addition to the jar lid which helps make the presentation look more professional, and prevent leakage even if the butter starts melting from ambient heat. The jars are great!! They are super small but they fit my purposes for a travel sized container for an oil or cream or whatever you want. It’s actually close to 4 1/2 stars for me. I dropped these jars and a few times where the glass didn’t break and they should have BUT the plastic tops did. 1/2 star only deducted maybe just hoping for a stronger plastic top. Read more
