These lighters are fun (1st thing's first), but more importantly, they're a decent alternative to BIC in terms of reliability, which seems to be hard to find these days. Using one for the first time felt a little odd - they're smaller and round vs. 'oval' - and I wasn't sure about the strike wheel at first (pentagonal shaped instead of smooth), but it quickly grew on me and now I will never go back to those stupid child-proof BIC's and their pain-to-remove safety bands (not that I'm knocking the intention). I have not had to refill them yet (one is out, just started using another after 1.5 months), but plan to buy a can of 5x or 7x power butane (with the nozzle attachments!) soon so I have some on hand. First off, Clippers are the best disposable/ refillable lighters ever. If you want a great lighter, I highly recommend Clippers. I ordered these and they arrived quickly. Three of the lighters are just like every other clipper I've owned, but one of them is pretty special. The green one in the pack sparks up and the flame is easily 5 inches. When I tilt the lighter sideways, it shoots a giant flame. I was quite surprised when I leaned the lighter out to spark a friend's cigarette and I almost engulfed their face in flame. I love fire and I have messed with lighters to perform the same way this lighter did straight out of the package. I ain't mad at it. I'm actually quite pleased with this purchase. Read more

I remember using Clippers religiously when I was in the UK. Now that I'm in America, I'd rather buy these than a Bic any day. They work better, 4 lighters for cheap and free shipping, they last long AND they're refillable, they're better for you because they burn less butane, and the flint is removable to help you pack whatever you roll.
