Great car cam it is even has voice control. Fairly easy to use. Takes beautiful videos and has so many settings to make things even better. Takes the up to 512GB micro SD cards so not to finicky with memory as long as you buy the fast stuff. It is a bit to large to hide behind the rear-view mirror though. I loved my A119 v3 more, as it was nearly invisible, but it does not have a rear camera. So you get what you get. The Viofo units are about the best for the money and even twice the money you can get. I don't like their hard-wire kits though BIG FAT choke on the end makes the wires more than difficult to hide. I liked the setup and ease of use when placed on the windshield. The menu is good and easy to understand ita functions once you go through them. I find that it's doesn't cut off when I'm parked and just have the ignition on for the stereo. I want a function to place it in standby that isn't so menu intensive. Overall I am pleased with the dash cam and did my research before I purchased it. Great value for the money, I would recommend this brand for all who need a dash cam in there daily commutes. VIOFO A229 Plus Dash Cam with Dual STARVIS 2 with the lens bundle was easy to install, and it works great. Just remember to purchase a good card for dash camera's, and format the microcard and add the firmware to it and update the dashcam, then everything should work flawlessly. The installation was a couple or a few hours, taking my time. Rear camera cord length is more than enough. Really like the size and features of this dashcam has to offer. It's the best bang of the money. Don't forget if you don't get the bundle that comes with the HD front camera lens, to purchase one so that at night, it has a clear HD video. Good quality and easy install (though that might depend on your car). If you have a hatchback or similar, make sure to leave some slack on the rear camera since it will swing up with the rear door. Read more
