I had purchased a bedframe that does not require a box spring and after a while, the mattress started giving me back and hip pain. This bunkie board has made a huge difference since I placed it on my bed frame. It is not heavy, easy to place and when placing my mattress on the bunkie board, it did not slide. Got this to go on top of our slatted platform bed as the last mattress we had was a super cheap one from Amazon and didn’t last super long and I think a good part of it had to do with our slat distance. This goes wonderfully across the platform and has rubber things to help it not slide around on the platform. It fits great on the platform and is solid. I was a little apprehensive about buying one of these for under a hundred dollars. Actually It works great. It fit the bed frame dimensions perfectly, and feels like a quality product. The only downfall this has is its in 2 pieces and it doesn't meet on the bar in the middle of the bed. So in the it only gets supported by the side rails.
