The desk is heavy and it is mostly due to the counter which is very solid (a plus). I have my home office on the second floor so I had to open the box and carry the parts in three separate trips. It is very easy to assemble but you may need two people to put the counter on. A single person could put the top on but it is wide and long, hard to grab and placed on top by one single person. I bought this desk because my position was reclassed to work from home (remote) and because I'm going back to college. My set up at my corporate office requires 3 screens so I needed a decent size desk to be able to do this from home. This desk was absolutely perfect. It is big enough to comfortably fit everything but too big. I also really appreciated having two cable cut outs, helped reduce cable clutter on top. The desk was SUPER easy to set up (I did it myself) and really sturdy, hella heavy. Definitely worth the $250 I spent. There was only one imperfection on the desk but it was on an inside facing piece so it wasn't a big deal. Also props for the fast delivery. This desk is amazing! I wanted a simple shell that was sturdy and looked great and was a decent price. This product blew away all expectations. I have been absolutely loving it. It unfortunately arrived damaged due to the shipping process. The packaging comes with information to reach their customer service before reaching out to Amazon. They are absolutely incredible. The staff I worked with was very friendly, helpful, and quick in resolving the issue. This is a pretty nice desk. It's very simple and easy to put together. For the price, the quality is very good and it seems to be very durable. I love the mocha cherry color. It's like the espresso or chocolate finishes that are very popular right now, but it has a bit more red in it. My complaint is that the series C desks are very heavy. The desk top and legs are a very thick material. You might argue that this makes it sturdier, but I think it's overkill. The desk uses the same cam and dowel hardware components as much lighter desks, so if it were to break it would be in one of these quick-fit connectors. The desk is so heavy that it's really hard to get it shipped to you without damage. We've purchases several desks and components in this series from various stores, and they all came with some amount of damage. It's just not really realistic to send something this heavy in a single box without it being banged up a little. Read more
