Works very well, accurate and yardage confirmed with top tier range finder. Best thing is the app syncs well with watch and can easily populate new courses, and updates. Two new courses opened near me...and this watch grabbed them both. My 2 garmins I returned did not load easily and required old school pc. I'm android phone/chromebook and into some tech...so the Bushnell was able to run. Probably not as good as some Apple devices, but plenty of good features for me, and I've had gps watches for many years. Good price, and it charges ok...just be careful with charge adapter but its good. Played a round and the battery was still 75% up so seems good. Got this watch back in April of 2024, used it for about six month and battery stopped charging so I sent it for a warranty service which it had no problem after getting it checked. Received it back and it was charging again for about another 6 months and again, the watch would not charge and would not turn on. Tried everything to recharge this thing but still not working. This watch works really well for distances. I was using my phone with a golf app, but in low signal areas, it would be inaccurate. This thing has been spot on, every time I’ve checked the distance it gives me and double checked with a range finder. It took me a while to trust it, but now, that I know it is good, it saves me a good amount per round of golf. There are probably a lot of features that other watches have that this one doesn’t, but for the cost vs most others, this things is great. I really like the Ion Elite but after only 9 months it suddenly stopped charging. Reading the reviews, this seems to be a common problem. I'm just now starting the repair or return process with Bushnell but other reviews indicated that customer service is terrible. We'll see how it goes but I expect a battle. In the mean time I would recommend people to look at other brands of GPS watches. I'm updating my review to be fair to potential customers and Bushnell. After my watch failed as indicated above, I contacted Bushnell via phone. I left a call back number and they called back later that day as promised. After describing the problem a case number was assigned. I sent the watch, with the required receipt to show date of purchase, to the repair facility in KS and in about two weeks they replied that the watch was covered under the warrenty. In about a week a new watch arrived. I love the watch functionally and now am satisfied with the customer service. Original rating was two stars because of a failure after only 9 months but upgraded now to 4 stars due to responsive customer service. Read more

UPDATE: unit crapped out after less than 2 years. Bushnell did nothing DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Got the watch for Xmas 2023 (thanks Babe…!), waited to review until I had most of a golf season under my belt. Summary review: I love it. I wanted something that was simple and easy to use i.e., was transparent to my golf experience snd the ION Elite fits the bill. Great battery life, finds courses eay, quick to reset on the rare occasions it gets confused. Stand over your ball, flip your wrist and cover, middle, back yardage is right there. On a longer hole, easy to use the view that provides the same info to a hazard with a couple touches. I’ve compared the provided data with other products and the on-course markers and it’s pretty much spot-on. For under $200 (where I live that’s equivalent to 2 rounds) you can’t beat it. My only negative…? Now everyone in my foursome is asking me for the distances instead of using their own clunky rangefinders…! Read more
