Bushnell Sleeping Bags

I wasn’t expecting to love this sleeping bag as much as I do. I got it for a fall camping trip in northern Wisconsin where temps dipped into the high 30s at night, and it held up way better than expected. I stayed warm all night without needing extra layers. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy. The material inside is soft, not that noisy, crinkly stuff some bags have. Zipper worked smoothly and didn’t snag, which is a small thing but makes a big difference when you're half-asleep and trying to get out in the dark. Only downside: It takes some muscle to pack it into a bag for transportation. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for spring, summer, and early fall camping. Solid performance for the price. The sleeping bag was well made and the materials were all good quality (especially the brushed cotton liner), but a friend of mine purchased this same sleeping bag unbeknownst to me a few months ago and he said it unfortunately didn't keep him warm at the temps this is rated at. Based on that I decided to return this bag even though I hadnt personally used it yet, and purchase a different one built and rated a bit better. It's all about what each individual person needs their bag to do, and for what I needed it to do it apparently fell short based on my friends first hand experience with it. It was important to find a cotton fabric sleeping bag (outer) as well as cotton flannel lining (inside). These bags are bigger than I need (they swallow me but that's not as important as fabric) I'm using for van camping, they zip together easily. I think the phone pocket idea 💡 is smart! These came in lovely packaging!!! The storage bag is as great a feature as the bag ! The golden color is soothing! Being from Maine, The red/black flannel plaid inside the bag is perfection. FYI The filling is synthetic. We slept warm and comfortable at 32°. Very roomy! Read more
