This is a vine review meaning the product was provided to be reviewed. This product is a black rainproof backpack with black nylon zippers with black metal pulls. It is packaged in a transparent plastic bag not suitable for gifting unless boxed and wrapped. This product features heavy rubberized nylon-like fabric throughout and is sturdily made. The rubberized fabric makes it rainproof, a nice feature. The zippers are fine nylon with metal pulls. I would prefer heavier zippers to match the sturdiness of the rest of the product. The expandable main compartment has retaining straps for a laptop but there is no separate padded laptop compartment. I found this surprising because the product is advertised as a business backpack, and who in the business world doesn’t have a laptop? The lid of the main compartment has retainers to keep it from flapping all the way open. The retainers can be unsnapped to allow the lid to fall back 180°. See attached detail photograph of lid retainers. The smaller second compartment features orange pockets for pens, calculators, and other small items. See attached photograph. There are two side compartments for water bottles and a back zippered compartment for a small notebook. A covered UBS outlet is on the side. The back of the backpack has a sculpted relief to provide ventilation for your back. The back has a luggage strap, and there is a padded carrying strap on the top of the product. See attached detailed photographs of product back and back pocket. in summary, this is a nice backpack with many good features including being rainproof. As future product improvements, I recommend adding a padded laptop compartment and larger zippers, preferably metal. I deducted one star for lack of a padded laptop compartment and use of small nylon zippers, and will be pleased to upgrade this review if the recommended improvements are implemented. Read more
