EMPTY Not ONE DROP of Butane
This should be zero stars. Not ONE of these "butane lighters" had so much as a SINGLE DROP of butane in them. After several futile attempts to get even one of them to work I discovered a slip of paper in the bottom of the package stating that " Due to transportation safety regulations lighter comes without fual". If such a "regulation exists then there must be thousands of sellers who are in violations of said regulations because I have bought a lot of lighters online over the last 20 years and I can't think of even ONE other time when a lighter arrived without fuel. These are without a doubt the most useless lighters I own and that includes all of the empty nonrefillable tiny "cigarette lighters" which can at least be use in a pinch to start a fire assuming you have some moderately flammable material like vegetable oil, cooking spray, hair spray, and some sort of halfway dry kindling like paper, dry bark, down, or sawdust, these cant even be used to light a gas stove with a defective electronic ignition because the sparking mechanism is located just inside of the plastic barrell. These are going straight into the recycling, on the plus side tje absence of butane does make them safe to recycle so I guess that earns them the one star I was forced to give them. Read more
