I have arthritic fingers and thumbs, so having to first depress a switch then fire the ignition, that they are useless. This lighter worked great for about 1-2 months before it stopped functioning as expected. It is great that it allows for refueling but the spark that ignites it goes out quickly and is now not usable. If the seller is willing to send me another one, I’ll revise my review if a second product works well. Read more

I try to not instantly review the products I purchase, as it's usually a day after the warranty expires that when products have a tendency to fail.....That being said... Nice lighter! This is my second purchase for my son w/ Down syndrome for our grill/bonfire days. It's easy for him to trigger, and the jet flame features helps him with wind, and the tip doesn't get ridiculously hot, so no burns. The last one he took home, and his mom confiscated it and brought it up as a court issue (eyeroll). Read more

This lighter mostly does its job when it's working. I say "mostly" because it does something that I consider dangerous -- it does not turn off immediately after you release the trigger. It'll continue burning for 1 to 2 seconds afterwards. But the bigger trouble for me is... the lighter stopped working after only two months of use. It just wouldn't relight, neither before nor after refueling. That puts the lighter in the realm of disposable lighters, and neither the price nor the claimed features warrant thinking of this as a disposable lighter. Read more

For the price, this lighter is a piece of crap. We used it about 10 times over a 2 year period and the igniter stopped working. When I press the button (and I've really tried pushing the button) it rarely clicks and, when it does click, it's a weak snap, unlike the snap I used to get when the lighter was brand new. I bought this "better" lighter thinking it would last a lot longer than the cheaper 3 pack plastic lighters, but I was mistaken! Spent 30 minutes looking up possible repairs or fixes and everything pretty much says replace the lighter!! Read more
