These are extremely well made! The metal appearance is excellent and hasn't scratched. This lighter is heavy enough you're aware you have it but still easy to carry in your pocket. Easy to fill. I do recommend you follow the directions for this lighter. allow lighter to sit 3-5 minutes after filling before lighting. Also be sure to adjust flame a few times and you'll have the perfect lighter. Because other's have commented on mine so often, I'm buying more as gifts. I believe these are built to last. Read more
Don't buy these. They're garbage. Feel solid enough but one wouldn't fill and the other filled once and never again. Do yourself a favor buy a Bic at least they work. Read more
I like this lighter. No problems with filling or lighting. It has a window to see the butane level and it is easy to strike. My spouse has arthritis and was able to light it with ease. The case is sturdy and can take dropping it without damage. Improvements: Lighter Size - it's fairly large in your hand. Flame Size - The minimum setting for flame height could be lower. I expect it to use more fuel since it has double jets. Allowing a lower flame would help but I don't really consider it as negative. Read more
I am impressed with this lighter. Very high quality in fit and finish and it feels solid (I have the silver one). The lighter produces a good flame and lights every time with a single click. Mine is adjusted to almost the minimum flame setting. If you are familiar with the standard Zippo lighter this one is the same depth and width but almost 1/3 taller, so it is a bit bulkier in your pocket. Not certain yet on the fuel usage but it does seem to use a lot which I think is due to the nice jet flame it produces. However, it is easy to fill, and the fuel window shows the fuel level so a quick check and fill if needed can assure you will not run out. To top everything off you get two lighters nicely packaged for what I think is a very reasonable price for a quality lighter. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a lighter and would like something nicer than a disposable. Read more
Good lighters only issue is they both no longer work, the lids stopped working first than the electric igniter. All within a year. Read more
Updated: I figured out how to fill the lighter. After I filled it up, it worked well. The fluid window was a big help when refilling. Be aware that you need to purge the lighter before you fill it. Once you fill it to 80-90% you are good. Let it sit for a few minutes to come up to room temp, or hold it into your hand to warm up the lighter. Read more
The lighter is rugged and it’s got good weight. Filled with butane perfectly , I think I filled it halfway and I was real careful with not trying to overfill. I do not recommend cranking the fuel all the way at first light , just about 5 percent or the desired flame length is fine. Read more
