I took a chance on this, even after seeing the reviews. I questioned if the issue of inconsistent lighting might be a fluid quality issue, as many of the butanes sold here are off brand. I decided to use ZIPPO brand butane to see if that would make a difference.. Ive always liked the Quality of Zippo products.. but.. when it comes down to it, its mechanical. the adjustment valve is way to clunky and does not adequately control the flow of gas as it is released. The striker seems functional, and appears to spark.. so it, in my opinion, is the delivery system for the gas itself. Just inconsistent. Now as for refilling it.. hehehe yea its a mess.. i get more butane on my fingers than in the lighter. very short bursts at best. It does seem to refill somewhat but doubtful to 100% and then of course the actual flame control (Size). It gets VERY large.. and has tons of pressure... very solid flame. I think i will mostly be using this as my torch to clean my screens and cleaning tools.. the flame is plenty consistent for that and if I gotta strike it a few times extra so be it. Over all I would say dont get it just because of the ignition and filling issues.. If your looking for something cool looking thats just a "back up" torch.. this would be ok.. it DOES work.. just not as a my main source of fire. Read more

By far one of the best torches I own. It’s not exactly pocket-friendly—unless your pockets are toolboxes—but it’s tough, perfectly sized, and lights on the first click like it’s trying to impress you.
