These are fantastic! I'm short (5'2"), pear shaped, and gained a lot of weight recently (at 180 lbs). I bought an XL and they fit perfectly. I didn't think shorts were an option for me this summer given weight gain, but these are somehow flattering! Not too binding, stays in place, comfortable, and the short underneath prevents chafing. I bought these hoping to use them with a tankini top I had (not pictured). I wasn't sure what to expect, but they are so comfortable. They stretch and are not restricting. I like the length and feel like they are flattering. I never like when my legs rub together or I feel like I'm always pulling shorts down. I am 5'6 1/2 and about 182lbs. The XL fits perfect. They are light weight, the lining feels nice. They dried fairly quickly. I like that they have pockets and I feel like they could be worn as a regular short as well. Read more
So, context: I have been wearing swim shorts for 15+ years and am so glad that they have evolved over time to mimic more of men's swim trunks: quick dry and versatile. These are amazing as shorts, and the swim aspect is a bonus. I didn't swim but was in water wearing them. They were comfortable for a 1.5 mile walk, sitting around, playing in water, etc. I hope to get another pair! They didn't ride up, and I got a compliment. Originally bought because a friend has a pair an o loved the look. Only thing I'd change...have a pocket that zips, velcro, or something that keeps thing contained. I usually wear a medium to large hut ordered xl. I have thick thighs and bum, and my belly has become more pronounced, but band didn't fold down, climb, fall. Read more
I really like everything about these but they do run small. I ordered two different pairs of these from two different companies in size medium. The others fit but these are too small. The others are also more high waisted than these are. Read more
Great swim shorts for my mom tummy (high waisted). Comfortable and not too tight (I have sensitive skin). Definitely breathable material and good size pockets! I have not had any issues with stitching coming undone so far and it's been several months I purchased them earlier this summer and it's almost new years now but I wore them nearly all summer and then some (it's TX so summer felt like forever or on going).
