Comes fully assembled with (2) sided tape to stick to wall. I have an aversion to sticking anything to a wall because removal means a lot of wall surface repair. I cut a piece of maple, screwed the shelf onto it and mounted the maple (with small screws - easy wall patch) onto a stud (found stud using rare earth magnet, find drywall screws = find stud) So if the shelf ever breaks, we can easily install another. Overall it's not a bad unit. I also purchased a stainless steel knob and mounted it on the shelf, looks great! Read more
