I absolutely love these socks. I'm 72 years old and still have so much fun wearing toe socks and when I found these available with cats, I knew I had to get them. They're comfortable, super soft, i like that they're not too high up the calf and believe they'll be durable enough to last a long time. I do have short toes so as with all my toe socks, there's room at the end of each toe. That's the least of my worries because they're still easy to put on. According to my teenager, 'they serve everything that I wanted them to serve'. Good luck with that folks. But seriously, she said they're very comfortable, the above ankle / calf length is nice. Pleasantly surprised with the quality! Bought these because I was looking for cotton toe socks… these feel like possibly 95% cotton…and that’s good enough for me because the quality is there (well stitched and cat patterns are top notch!). I wear 8.5-9 in shoes and ordered a Medium **Only flaw is that over time the pinky toe rides up because socks aren’t sewn with a natural curve that a foot has…it’s made with all toes in a straight line. My mother in her 70’s has RA and some toes were rubbing and causing calluses. Definitely not the cutest socks I’ve ever invested in! But they are fun to shove in a gift and get a laugh out of someone. When you put them on, you’re not sure if you are comfortable with all your red or yellow sausage links out for the world to see, but they become quite comfortable the longer you have them on!
