I bought this to wear to my daughter’s 5th grade classroom party as I was the abominable snowman “hosting” a glow dance. I made it not so scary by wearing a pink cowboy hat and a 3XL t shirt over it. The suit itself is great for the money you pay. The suit is very funny and the inflatable pads it comes with make the body shape very monster-y. One thing to know - I had to sew wider ribbons on for the ties. The ribbons that come with the suit are so thin that you WILL get stuck in the suit from the ties getting knotted. And the suit is very hot so I could easily see someone just cutting the ribbons to get out of it before they freak out from the heat. Also, the suit sheds a lot, both on the inside and outside. To stay cool(er) I found wearing yoga pants and a workout shirt underneath helped me from overheating so I could keep dancing and embarrassing my daughter. Read more

Head to toe full-body costume. Hands, and especially feet, are very impressive - people loved the look! The mask is a bit stifling, and overall the thing is hot, so be prepared to take it easy. As another reviewer stated, use stuffing and a blow dryer to prepare the costume. I wore house slippers inside the feet, that worked well. I cut slightly larger holes in the ears. I did not cut a hole in the mouth; it would have been better, both for drinking through a straw, and especially for talking -- your voice is muffled inside this thing. BUT, it might ruin the look of the face, not sure. The shoulder pads make you look like a hulking beast. I am only 5'9" but looked like a linebacker. Take a good look at the string ties across the shoulder pads and body back closure -- might want to upgrade them with some string or something more durable; the cheap junk this ships with frays and comes undone quickly. Got this for my high school son to wear to a costume party. His brother got the King Kong one and their best friend got the Big Foot costume so all three of them were decked out. The costume is very nice, fits well and definitely has eye appeal. The boys' friend bought an old 1980 Cadillac Hearse for some $700 and they decked it out for Halloween. They had an old coffin in the back, had a bloodied mummy arm shut in the rear tailgate door and then went cruising the neighborhood. They finished at the local McDonald's where numerous folks......kids and adults alike had to get their pictures taken with the mummimobile and the three monsters. All three costumes fit well and held up fine. Although fairly pricey I can see them being useful for several years....... The only real issue is with shedding but that is to be expected. I am a 6'1" 275 lb guy and this actually fit. I wore it out actually trick-or-treating with my 5 yr old and 2 yr old, and it wasn't too tricky getting around. I wore my comfortable k-swiss shoes inside the feet. The only modification i made was to cut a mouth slit where the teeth are( still looks great), and made the ears holes bigger. I bought this for a prank at my Halloween party- halfway through I disappeared and changed into this without telling anyone who I was. It sufficiently hid my identity! The quality is ok, what you should expect for the price- moderate. It looks like the picture, but is really short in the legs. I'm 5'8, and the pants were up at my calfs with the shoulder inflatable thing on. Without the inflatable, the pants end at my upper ankles. The feet are big- I ended up putting slippers inside of them and it worked great. I was very warm all night. The mask was like torture. I was hyperventilating at first and had to calm myself down. It's hot, sweaty, and claustrophobic in there. I got used to it after about 15 minutes and calming myself down. I didn't think it would bother me so much! If you can modify this to put a fan in the mask, consider it. Overall for the price, it works. It's a classic and can be used for multiple parties/gags. Read more

Why not buy this? It is awesome. The feet are big you can wear shoes under them. I think it looks just like the picture. You will shed like a real yeti but that adds to the costume. Actual mask bears slight resemblance to photos shown on Amazon & on the packaging it comes with. Believe the reviews that state how quickly the mask gets hot, especially if you're planning to wear it indoors or if you live in a hot region. Also, the tie strings on the bodysuit are thin & flimsy, don't last long. Overall, the quality of the entire costume is great, and just what we wanted for the aesthetic we needed. Read more

We ordered this costume for my husband. We always go camping for Halloween and the campground we go to has a bunch of things to do for halloween. My husband wore this a lot of the time this past year. It was true to size and fit him perfectly. He did not use the shoulder pad things that came with it. The hands and feet fit great. He just put the feet on over top on his shoes and they worked perfectly and it was easy for him to walk around with the costume on. Everyone loved it, especially the kids. It was a good thing though that it was a pretty cold weekend because the costume is very hot. The face mask lined up great with his eyes and mouth but it was really hot.
