Simple and straightforward to put on, once you figure out after putting on the tunic you have to put the drape on over your head and shoulder to make it hang right. I loved my husband in this! It's nice fabric, not your average costume material and it really achieves that cool draping that you want in a toga. My husband is 6 ft and it didn't come quite as long as in the picture, but definitely long enough for him to feel comfortable. The belt was REALLY long for him, we just ended up tying it because the velcro didn't work with how long it was. The arm cuffs were also very big so he didn't end up wearing those, but overall he still got an awesome look and I'm very happy with the whole thing. Read more

I am a 5' 9" with a 33" waist & 40" chest I am a med sometimes a large in shirts and it actually fits me pretty good for a "1 size fits all". The fabric has a lot of stretch in it so I can see how it could fit someone way taller and muscular then me. The cuffs were way to big for me but I have small wrists, but it is an easy fix with a trip to Target to buy velcro sticky tape. I cut the cuffs to fit and taped on the velcro! 2 minute job and they fit great. For the price this costume is totally worth it. It looks awesome on me. Read more

We bought this for my fiance to wear in a group event for "toga" costumes. He is 5'9 and about 230 lbs. He had a very lsrge chest though. It fit great. It is a cream color, NOT WHITE, and it's not off white, it is full on cream. Its hard to tell from the images, but there is actually no brown in the costume. The arm peices, and trim are all black. Synthetic leather type of material. With some gold accent. I'm only giving 3 stars because it is VERY easily messed up. There are nicks of fabric all alone his arms, and down the side, only from wearing it a few hours. And because all the black pieces, smell like fish. To the point where we sprayed them down with frebreeze, and nothing helped. It had to be packed away, as we were traveling with it, and now the suitcase it was in has the faint smell of the fish. My husband needed to dress as a god for a parade, so we ordered this set, thinking we could dress it up with accessories and props, depending on what god we chose. It arrived quickly, fit comfortably (he is 6' and weighs about 216), and we found it to be the perfect starting place for our project. We chose Dionysus (god of wine), got a green glass bottle, found a goblet (which was actually a container designed for a flower arrangement but we spray-painted so it looked like a large pewter goblet), and affixed grapes to his shoulder and belt. (While the belt -- ribbon -- it came with would have worked, we found a better one at a thrift store for 1.50.) Finally, I created a "wreath" of fake grapes and leaves for his head and voila . . . I like the way it draped on my husband. Looked great on him. The dislike was it was a bit too shear. He had to wear a black undergarment because of the shearness. Overall, the product was a great piece for a great price! Everyone told us how nice we looked! Read more

We had a party to attend and my husband is not really a costume-wearer. It fit loose enough for him to wear shorts and a shirt underneath. He also would not wear a mask which this does not have. We did tie a leather strap around his head as a headband. It wasn't too hot which was another concern of his before we went to the party. He is a big guy, 6' and 275 lbs and it fit great, which was such a relief. Note: it had a little spot that didn't completely wash out, but was hidden in the pleats, and it took some work to figure out how to wear it since it had been held together with one of those plastic thingies and the wristlets stink as all get out after you wear them a little while.
