Overall great for the price. I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 185 lbs; the small fits easily. I used some black safety pins on the shoulder piece and shin guards to keep everything in place. It ties midway up your back, which is adequate, but I wish it had another tie at the back of the neck in the shoulder area; it would feel a lot more secure. This was a great costume, my son looked awesome. He had so many compliments. He is very tall (6'4) so he had to wear shorts underneath - the skirt part is pretty short but it didn't alter the look of the costume. He weighs 250lbs and the Large fit him just fine with room to spare. Read more

This is a great costume. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the quality was, compared to the price ($48). My son was Alexander the Great, for a school event. Got this Costume for my Hubby; for Halloween Party 2024. Based on all the reviews got a Smaller Size, which would be a SMALL. Normally he would be a MEDIUM chest size 40. The costume was still a little bit big on him, But all I have to do is tie on him as tight a possible on the back. Some of the pieces I will be sewing them on so that they stay in place (but anyone can easily use a safety pin, if you cant sew). The Tunic is big but, it has to be that way so that there's room to move around. The Seam at the Neckline (which is WAY big) is very visible but if you fold it in when ironing it it will look good. Length is good. Chest piece is made of Foam & Plastic Looks realistic Considering how its made. The Arm pieces and Forearms I will be sewing them so that they fit snug on him & will add a little velcro to the arm band (Again, that's easily fixed with just using a few safety pins to stay in place) For the Shin Guards I will be adding Velcro so that the will fit tighter and the flap won't look like is about to fall off.
