I am a dancer, and man do my feet need extra special care. I couldn't figure out how to get the clear guard on, but used it anyways and was amazing how much dead skin I got off! I went into some weird food cleaning trance while watching the Kardashians (lol). My feet feel amazingggggg. There's a picture of someone bleeding on here..I'm not sure how they pulled that off. No problems but just in case you’re hoping to use the little greater attachment and the plastic cup that catches the dead skin, forget about doing that. Neither one of them actually hold onto the Appliance. They’re very cheaply made and simply will not stay attached. They went straight into my trashcan with no problem whatsoever, though. The media could not be loaded. This callous shaver has OUTDONE all the other shavers I have purchased from drugstores over the years (and there were many!). With my old one, no matter how I set the blade, I ended up cutting my toes and bleeding. No problem at all with this one though you do have to be careful because obviously it’s quite sharp. It’s all in the angle used when shaving. It is comfortable and feels stable in my hand, it looks nice and it has what seems like the perfect weight to it. I just did my toes and I am very impressed. The shaver comes with instructions that says to soak your feet - don't because it's takes longer and makes the skin slippery. Not much gets shaved off with soaking. Instead, I just lathered my dry heels and wherever else on my feet I plan to shave, with lotion, wipe the excess away, and then shave. Sooo satisfying to see the layer of dead dry skin come off. I also tried it dry, without soaking or lotion, and that works just as well, but I've accidentally cut myself a few times doing it this way.
