This is described as basic, and it is basic, but also elegant and can be used for formal as well informal events. I reach for it at least once a week in 3 seasons. This is the second one I've purchased and love it. I've never sent this to the dry cleaners. I hand wash it or machine wash it on the delicate cycle and hang dry it. It comes out fine. Read more

I’ve bought this shrug before and knew that it’s good quality, wears well and provides the coverage I want in air conditioning without a lot of weight. It also is wrinkle free and just the right length (not bolero). This is the best shrug I’ve bought and wear it the most. I wanted to have an extra on hand or for travel. A great basic to have on hand for warmer weather. It's ideal to throw on over a sleeveless shirt or dress when going inside to the air conditioning. Looks equally good with skirts/dresses or pants, although I particularly like the shorter length for dresses--on me the bottom hits just below my natural waist. Read more

You cannot combine this with any light colors. The color from the cardigan will transfer to it. I stained a yellow dress like that. Also, my underarms are always stained black after I wear it. It’s a very cute cardigan, but this is a major flaw and a hassle to be treating your clothes afterwards. Read more
