Love the size, love the thickness, love the straps. It's a little oversized for transport, but that's exactly what I wanted - oversized. This is perfect for what I needed: not just for yoga, but any other workout and especially stretching - without falling off the mat. I can change positions easily, with less effort. Came on time or early, was in protective plastic and box (not cheap junk packaging). I'm only 5'3 but this should still be a great size for tall girls/women or even for men, with ample room. Great large yoga mat. I always felt the typical yoga mat felt restrictive and when i needed to do some physical therapy, I just needed something bigger, and preferable thicker. This has worked really well. It has been on a painted(?) concrete floor and has not shifted while I did my exercises. It's comfortable to kneel on and do things like crunches. It didn't have an overwhelming smell. I feel like all products like this have some smell, so you can't really avoid it, but it was typical and not something I felt was unusual. I seldom write reviews but this yoga mat is so lovely that I just had to say so! I’ve owned several different yoga mats over the years and they’ve been nice enough and beautiful different colors but this one is just remarkable! First of all, I love the soothing light green color - perfect for doing yoga and influencing a calm to my practice. And the thickness and silkiness of the pad is just luxurious feeling!!! I bought this one because I wanted a nice wide mat to experiment with some new practices like primal moves… I love the width of this mat for doing yoga even, as well as my Activated Isolated Stretches.
