After purchasing (and eventually tossing) many water bottles, sippy cups, straw bottles etc. I have found that these are the perfect water bottles for kids ages 6-10. They are leak proof, dishwasher safe. No straws that are hard to clean and no areas for gross mold to grow. The new magnetic lid is better than the old style in my opinion, especially for kids. The older style was more difficult for little hands and so the cap would just hit them in the nose when they tried to drink - was not a deal breaker but this new lid is much better. Although they are leak proof, both the mouth piece and the cap are easy to remove so kids can open both and drink or refill unassisted ... a big plus! Finally, these fit in all the cupholders in our car and the kids booster seat cupholders perfectly. I bought the bigger (750ml) size for myself too ... which also fits all the cupholders ... yay! I broke the lid on my favorite water bottle and couldn't find the same shape again, so I ordered this bottle in lupine on sale. Love it!! It's the right diameter that I can easily hold with one hand (I have trigger fingers), it holds a nice amount of water - not too much or too little, I love the large opening so it's easy to clean (reusing straws gross me out for fear of mold) and makes no noise (great for work), and I love the magnet lid to keep it away from my face. I even love the color - rich but not flashy. It's a nice quality plastic that feels like it will last a while. It did take me a bit to figure out I need to screw the lid on in between drinks and it seems to take more turns than I anticipated - but I'm okay with that given its other features. Love it love it love it! I have the tall versions of this bottle and love them too but only use those for water. I got his little guy for when I’m craving drinks that aren’t water such as juice, chocolate milk, a drink mix, etc. It’s easy to carry around and to clean. I use the small one because I don’t need as much of anything than I need water so this makes sure I don’t drink too much, it keeps my water only bottles nice and clean, and holds the drink and is so easy to take places. I got the black one and it is sleek and hides weird colors of different drinks. I also keep a shaker ball in the bottle and it works great as a small shaker bottle which is great because most BCAA, energy, crystal lite, etc powders only call for 8-12oz which is exactly what this guy holds. I love it! Just have to make sure the lid is actually screwed all the way down which is fine because that’s really what you have to do with anything. Read more

I've been using CamelBak water bottles for more than 7 years. I bought this one to replace my last one. My last bottle was broken after I dropped it, but it lasted 5 years. I went back to the same brand without thinking. The magnetic thing that keep the cap back is really nice. If you only drink water from it, just run it in the dishwasher and it comes out very clean. The only problem would be that it is not super easy to clean if you put stuff in it other than water. I often put tea in it to drink, and over time there is tea stain on the bottle cap. Dishwasher doesn't do a good job cleaning it, and it is not easy to hand clean the mouth part as tea stain stays in the screw thread. I use a cotton swab to clean it, and even that it is not perfect because nothing can reach the thread in the cap. I'm still giving it five stars though, because I do like the bottle a lot and use it every single day. Read more

I've had a million Nalgene bottles over the years. Pre-BPA free years to current. I love them, but man... they are so bulky. I always thought they were to wide. Sure they have other versions, but they are always tiny, like 500 ml or less tiny. Who needs that? If you are going to carry water, you need at least 150ml. After watching a lot of Chase Reeves videos, he kept raving about the CamelBak Chute. So I looked at my current massive Nalgene and again said "Why?" so I pulled the trigger and grabbed a Chute. And I'm glad I did. I love the magnetic top. Who wouldn't..... No one likes getting hit in the eye by that Nalgene lid flipping back at your face with rage. The only change I would make, would be to make the loop handle a bit smaller. That seems a tad bulky. A bit contradictory to the nice slime bottle design that fits great in the hand, in a bag or on your desk. Thanks for the insistent raving about the Chute Chase, I'm really digging it. Read more

Ordered this at the start of the school year for my 6th grader because the special COVID rules at school this year require them to bring a clear plastic bottle from home with a daily drink in it (the school isn't allowed to let them use drinking fountains per state rules right now). I ordered one for him to try it and now 1 full semester in and back from Christmas break this water bottle is still going strong after being used 5 days a week, carried to school in a lunch bag for an entire semester. No leaks, still looks like new. I have washed it by hand afraid to try to wash his only water bottle in the dishwasher and have something happen to it although it is listed as dishwasher safe. Just now got around to ordering a second one as a backup. But, overall it is tried and tested for everyday use by a boy in junior high which is pretty impressive to me. lol. Read more

A great water bottle for work, play and travel. You can open the lid with one hand, lid had a magnet so it will hold for an easy drinkable bottle solution. I use mine daily. It has a nice wide loop at the top easy to clip on a bag. The slim design of this bottle also makes a perfect size for the side pocket of my work back pack or to slide into my bike bottle holder.
