This is a great bottle. I use it mainly for water while at work, and occasionally at home. I bought it several months ago and it is quite durable. Pros: The handle allows it to be carried easily. The magnetic cap is great to keep it out of the way while drinking, as it is attached with a plastic hinge. I have no trouble cleaning the inside of it with a bottle brush. The price is decent for the quality. Being that I was in the military, I know Camelbak makes quality products. Cons: It was a bit larger than I was expecting, and it does not fit into most cupholders. I guess I could have read the measurements so this is my fault and not really a deal-breaker anyway. I would reccoomend this bottle to anyone looking for a durable, large capacity drink bottle. I would Read more

I drink at least 3 liters of water daily from a water bottle, so I'm a heavy user. I've had so many water bottles, and for the longest time preferred the Nalgene Narrow Mouth bottles. Nothing else was as easy to drink from (small mouth so no spills), had fast flow, fit 32oz, and was light and indestructible. The only issue with the Nalgene? IMPOSSIBLE to clean effectively. The small mouth prevents even the most specialized tools. Aside from an edible, acidifying liquid, no scrub cleaner like star-san - there was nothing that could be done. It became a gross mess in a few months without fail. Enter this camelbak product. It has a surprisingly high flow for such a small opening, which is awesome. The cap secures well, as does the lid. The lid comes off for easy cleaning with a bottle brush. Durability seems good. I do have concerns about the square edged lid coming un-done when jostled around in a backpack, but that may be unfounded if you really crank the lid on. I do wish the lid had some So far - it seems like a perfect upgrade from the Nalgene. Product design is top notch too - it's a very nice looking water bottle. Happy customer. Read more

I just got the bottle today an I absolutely love it! I wanted a 1l (32 oz.) bottle that was skinnier than my fat nalgenes for international plane rides. I am a lifelong nalgene fan for hiking and backpacking trips, but I wanted something taller and less fat for my carry-on bag = more leg room underneath the seat! For my last trip to Portugal from CA, I had to constantly have my 20 oz bottle filled up (thank goodness for a wonderful flight attendant) - I'm hoping this 32 oz. will last a little longer on long haul flights. As for the design - I think this is absolutely brilliant - the built in handle is sturdy. I could see it taking minimal wear and tear while being shoved into backpacks. The mouth piece is great - the outside of the spout is smooth and I can see debris and gunked up mouthpieces being minimized here. The lid is also BRILLIANT - when opened - it is lightly magnetized to the handle so that it doesn't smack you in the face while you're drinking. What a well designed product - thanks Camelbak. This is a fantastic bottle that anyone can carry with them! It has a decent capacity of water (1L) so you can stay hydrated. There is a little measurement near the top of the bottle to show if you reached one liter. The main feature about this bottle is the way you can just unscrew the bottle and put it the cap off to the side without it falling on your face or nose (Hence the name chute "mag". It's very convienent and the magnet within the side of the bottle and the cap is very strong. Drinking from it is a breeze, there's a little indentation for your mouth for comfort and the hole to drink from will be just right for many people. I can't give you all a good update on mold, but previous bottles I had before would always mold and smell from the top of the cover, and I would always have to trash them before I got sick. Doesn't seem like it will happen with this bottle since it's a screw-on. I've had this bottle for two weeks now and I plan on keeping it for a long time during those long days at school and throughout college! Read more

I am incredibly picky about my water bottles. I have pretty strict selection criteria, but this one meets all of them. There are a few improvements that could be made, but overall pretty good. I've purchased two since I lost my first. The only other one that's close to this is Rubbermaid's 32 oz Chug Bottle, but the cap gets gross after a while and is tough to keep clean even with regular washing if you use it every day like I do. --Leak proof 4/5 I am not a careful person. I'll toss this in my bag with my laptop in it or on the back seat of my car. I need to know that it's not going to spill everywhere. When it's closed tightly, it never fails. My only complaint is that sometimes it looks like the cap is on all the way, but it's not. (Maybe this is just my habit of forgetting to close things). --At least 32 OZ. 5/5 I carry my water bottle with me throughout the whole day, and there is nowhere for me to refill it with water that doesn't taste like metal. This is big enough that I have enough water to keep me satiated until I get home. --Wide mouth/no straw 5/5 I don't like to wait forever for my water to come out. Plus it's much easier to clean. --Durable 5/5 I carry my water bottle with me everywhere. I also drop it all the time--on pavement, off my desk, off the top of my car. It gets a few scratches, but it has held up with impressive durability. Overall, very solid purchase. I have tried lots of water bottles, and this one really takes the cake for me. Would purchase again. Read more
