With over 5000 reviews of this product, which in no small part was one of the major reasons I chose it - people don’t buy stuff that’s not any good, so anyway the chances anyone will read my review are slim. So here goes if you are one of the lucky ones. Remember what I just said, that people don’t buy junk? It’s also true that people buy what is easy and familiar. So why is it that it is so excruciatingly difficult to buy a simple water bottle to replace the disposable ones you buy in stores? After much too long spending money on increasingly thinner disposable store bought water, which in most cases is just tap water that’s been filtered, I invested in an expensive under sink filtration system so I can refill my own plastic bottles. My own filtered water tastes awesome and I never run out of it. The only trouble is those cheap thin bottles are not good for refilling so I wanted to get one that’s clear, simple and works exactly like I’m used to, unscrew the cap and chug. Guess what, almost no one makes that sort of thing. Now I’m as environmentally conscious as the next person but most brands want you to buy their bottle because it’s somehow going to save the planet. And instead of making it the same way people already drink water they come up with a thousand gimmicks to try to improve on simplicity. To cut to the chase, I think I finally found one here that’s basically like a 20 ounce store bought water bottle with a cap that unscrews and everything and the only think that’s gimmicky about it is the dubious addition of a magnet to hold the cap so you don’t lose it. I’ve never lost a cap so I can’t see why that’s such a big deal. WHAT I DON’T LIKE It’s not really a singular cause not to buy this bottle just a dose of reality. I spent a lot of money to make my home-filtered water as tasteless as possible but unfortunately for all the hype about Tritan (which is as pure as dimethyl terephthalate (CAS 120-61-6), 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CAS 105-08-8) and 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-84 1,3-cyclobutanediol can be) it still has an odor when new. And it’s a pretty stron odor. I would never use such a product without washing it first and with this it took several washings with a baking soda solution to reduce the odor to a tolerable level. WHAT I LIKE i do like that it has the overall familiar feel of a typical water bottle, it just the right size to wrap my hand around, and the 20 ounce size is only slightly larger than the usual 16 ounces so it was a logical size to buy. Most of all I like that they didn’t try to play games with the bottom, it’s flat, no weirdly formed bumps so it takes quite a shove to accidentally knock it over. YES OR NO Buying a simple water bottle shouldn’t be so difficult. I spent hours searching these pages until I found this one and even then I wasn’t 100% convinced. The fifteen buck price helped, it was reasonable and for those who care it comes in four different sizes and twelve different colors. I went simple, just 20 ounces and crystal clear. After washing most of the odor out I replaced my used plastic store bought bottle with this on my bathroom counter, where I always need a water bottle for taking meds and vitamins. After the first day I didn’t even notice I was using it. I learned I didn’t have to screw the top down tightly between uses, it has a slight snap to it to keep it closed (but not spill-proof) so it is actually easier to use than a regular bottle. And the magnet isn’t something I have to think about, when I open to top it just flops back by itself. I like the plain simplicity, knowing it can go into the freezer if I want to have ice cold water and that I can use hot water to clean it. These water bottles are great, I used to have one I carried around for work and it held up to a lot. It flew off the powered equipment I was driving at work twice and didn’t even break until the second time. I also got one for my girlfriend because we needed something toddler proof so the toddler couldn’t break the button or dump it out like the other water bottles she had, and so far this one has worked the best. Simple, cleverly-designed water bottle. I have several different bottles I like for different reasons but this is the one I use the most. I drink a lot of mixes - i.e. liquid IV, and this bottle allows for easy filling, mixing and adding ice with the ample-sized opening, but the benefit of a convenient drinking spout that is fairly wide with great air flow so you can take big swigs - just remember to screw the cap on before shaking lol. I love how the spout top is magnetic - lid is all one piece but stays put and out of way while drinking - no separate parts to deal with when walking or working out - one-handed adjustments - while also keeping the drink clean and secure. The little handle makes it easy to grab and go and can even be tethered with a carabiner or something similar, if you’d like. The flip spout & removable lid also makes it super easy to pop in the dishwasher or wash by hand. It’s moderate thickness and keeps drinks cold for a reasonable time - though it’s not thermal obvi, and don’t think temp control is an intended feature. It does sweat a little with ice cold water, but not as much as other bottles I have. It’s a clean, elegant bottle - no frills, but none needed. The media could not be loaded. Needed new water bottles for a hike up a New Hampshire mountain. So far, I like what I see. Nice sturdy carrying handle - fits 2 fingers. Bottle has wide mouth when cap removed so you can fit a water purifier stem in it. Cap/mouth that you drink out of is big as well so you can take a good drink, not sucking thru a straw. Cap is screw on and is leak proof when screwed down. The magnetic cap is a nice feature too. Note, though, most other reviews get it wrong. The magnet is in the carry handle and holds the cap to it so it doesn't smack you in the nose when you tip the bottle up to drink. It is NOT a magnet that holds the cap over the opening to keep it from spilling. If you flip the cap over the opening without screwing down, it is a good fit and may prevent a major spill, but it will still leak unless you screw down. Design looks like it will be easy to clean too. For holding, diameter seems a little bigger than your average water bottle but not uncomfortable. I will update after my hike. Read more

All good except... Liquid doesn't leak, but if you shake it and then open the spout liquid will drip from the cap. The diameter is large enough to not fit in many of the bottle holders on gym equipment. Everything else was great and I'm still using the bottle; but if I need a new one I'll probably get something different. Read more

Great bottle. designed well, drinks well, robust top. It hasn't had any big drops, so I can't speak to its durability. Read more
