Bottom line up front... even though BOTH of the water bottles we bought cracked along the bottom on the exact same day (see pic as example) two months after purchase, we love them enough that we bought replacements immediately. They are some of the only beverage cups our son has that are not obnoxious to clean. He loves taking them to school. To be fair, kids aren't always careful. Things can get dropped or knocked into things. But I did expect these to hold up a bit better than they did. Two months seems a little short. But, cest la vie. Update: Bumping to five starts for customer service. I reached out to CamelBak just to let them know about the cracking issue. The media could not be loaded. The straw doesn’t leak when tipped over on accident or shaken. Will leak if you have a child who chews on the mouthpiece but they do sell replacements. This cup is 3 weeks of use and still not leaking. If it is hot (sitting in Florida sun) it will build pressure inside and leak out of the top to relieve itself. Can’t be too mad about that.
