First, why do the delivery people feel the need to shove this in my mailbox? Twice now the outer bags have ripped and once my coffee bag ripped. I'm rural with a long drive, but come on people! Get your steps in! 1 star for delivery. With that out of the way, I love these beans. I have purchased several times and they are fresh. Good aroma. Not broken little pieces. I have a sensitive stomach and these do not aggravate it. I won't bore you with details on how I brew. To each their own. Just a nice good cup of coffee ! Read more

FINALLY! Amazing quality coffee that's not over roasted! Exactly what I was looking for: a light roast but with enough robustness and taste. I absolutely love this coffee and hope it's consistent since I am definitely subscribing. I make it with a French press and it's delicious, will try with my espresso maker as well and report back, but I should say: tons of crema come up when I do the first pour to 'wet the grounds', which tells me: amazing quality beans. So I'm being asked to forego some social security I was supposedly overpaid, but that's another story. I'm working to cut costs for a few months while I get this repaid, and I tried a couple of 2 lb bags of Cameron Breakfast Blend for about $21. Being a bourbon blender, I thought the best way to approach this new Cameron coffee was to substitute it 50% for the cofee I drink daily, Papa Nicholas Breakfast Blend. Approximately 23 grams of each for 2 cups, pourover in a metal filter. I'll try it in my fancy Behmor Brewer next. Update - works well as the 50/50 mix above with a better coffee when brewed slightly cooler at 190 degrees F in the Behmor. The blend is smooth and predictably has about half the character of the good stuff, but evidently the same amount of caffiene based on the lift it gives me. There is a faint taste of cardboard, but its easy to ignore if I pretend its something else. Tastes like a sacrifice I need to make right now. I find this to be an unremarkable but inoffensive way to extend my higher quality coffee and save some real money. I judge this a successful test. I'm not inclined to drink the stuff straight as its damned bland. Read more

This is a light roast coffee, with a good, strong coffee taste. I like strong flavored coffee and I found a happy medium with scoops, I use 6 1/2 teaspoons and am pleased with the taste and strength. The beans were fresh and ground easily, the bag has clasps on both sides to seal the bag after folding the opening. 32oz of beans is a good size bag to ensure there will always be coffee in the house. The best thing I can say is that at 34 cents an ounce, this coffee is worth about what I paid for it. It is inoffensive. Sort of like Folger's back in the day. The beans don't have any particular aroma in the sack, nor does the coffee in the cup. You can drink it. It'll wake you up. I have had some awful tasting coffee that costs twice as much. But if you want a rich aroma or taste, it is best to look elsewhere and spend a little more. With Trump declaring trade war with the whole world, this may soon be as good as we can reasonably get, but not yet. At least it doesn't taste stale, like most of the beans I've bought from Amazon. I blew this order because I thought it was ground but it ended up being whole beans. Not a disaster because I do have a grinder. This is very good coffee. I got confused looking for the best price because the prices are changing ridiculously these days. Goes up every week it seems. This is very good coffee though and the whole house likes it. Read more
