This is a serious piece of equipment! It is much bigger than I thought. That’s something to take in to account in terms of space. The food processor pot itself (of course) is plastic. That’s standard. Not too many worries there. The attachments it comes with (save for the plastic ones) are definitely metal of some sort. As of my writing this- there is NO mention of the materials used- aside from plastic. Even in the instructions and manual, there is no mention of materials. So I am NOT sure whether this is stainless steel or aluminum. It feels like durable aluminum. *SEE PHOTO* There is a place for the cord to be wrapped underneath. I appreciate this. *SEE PHOTO*: The manual says this should come with a blender and a grinder cup. Mine DID NOT INCLUDE these items. It could have to do with the selection I picked. (There are two options ss of now- with no clear distinction as to what the differences are.) *SEE PHOTO* There is a 2-year warranty card that comes with the unit. There is an odd emphasis on the warranty being extended “TO ALL *CAMIC VIP* CUSTOMERS”. I don’t know what that means and I find it odd. There is no mention of how to become a camic vip member on the card or online. So… is that extended to me as a customer? Or is it contingent upon my being part of some club? I’d like clarity on that. This product was also MADE IN CHINA. Lots of customers like to know that bit of information, so I am including it. All in all- im very satisfied. I liked that it came with different cup and bowl sizes, so I could use the large pitcher for smoothies or cake batter, the medium bowl for chopping vegetables, and the smaller cups for grinding coffee beans or spices. The motor feels powerful and it blends down fruits and vegetables into a smooth texture without much effort. When I tried it with ice cubes for making meat paste for homemade dumplings, it broke everything down evenly and the result was fine and smooth. I usually keep it on the counter since I reach for it often. In the mornings, I blend fruit for my daughter’s school snack and in the evenings I might chop onions or shred vegetables for dinner. It literally saves me time because I do not have to switch to different machines for different jobs. The smaller to-go cup is useful too, since my husband takes shakes to work. The machine does have a noticeable noise level. It is steady on the counter, but the sound can be sharp, especially when crushing harder items. My husband and I were so excited to get this food processor after ours finally died. At first, we were very impressed with it and all of the different blades and stuff that come with it. The digital display is very nice and easy to read all of the different options. Unfortunately, it broke before we could even use it. My husband was messing with it and turned it on and the piece that makes the blades turn kind of exploded. I can only assume that the bowl where you put the food wasn’t completely locked in place. I feel this is a big safety issue if it will still turn on when it isn’t fully locked. I could not find a way to contact the seller for a replacement part, so it looks like we won’t be able to use this and will need to get a different one.
