Always a favorite to use in recipes. I can honestly say I've never prepared it as just soup, but rather as a base for awesome gravies and to flavor casseroles. I have used Campbell's cream of mushroom to bake pork chops, poured into the crock-pot with any meat, mixed with noodles and tuna for a delicious weeknight casserole and the list goes on. Great price, but the can was badly dented. I would definitely say buy from the pantry. Just be careful and compare prices against your local food stores. I got a couple of things I was disappointed with but for the most part everything else was great and very good prices. Read more

Recipes only is the reason why I purchase this. Been around for over 100 years, so the Campbell Soup company must be doing something right. Downside: Needs more mushrooms; the quantity is very small; it barely covers the claim of being a "mushroom" soup, so in the legal sense of the word, it just about makes it. I like using this as soup. Half water and half milk. I also make a poor mans alfredo sauce. Make the soup, add some angel hair cooked spaghetti, and after it's heated, sprinkle some or a lot of parmesan cheese on top. It's delicious!@! Read more
