This lantern feels a bit plasticky, but overall the build quality is middle of the road — not premium, but fine for camping and emergency use. The upside is that it’s lightweight and easy to pack, which makes it convenient to toss in a backpack. The telescopic feature works well and is actually useful rather than gimmicky. It helps adjust the form factor depending on how you’re using it, and combined with the 360° light distribution, it does a good job of lighting up a space evenly. Brightness is adjustable and works well, though it’s not the brightest lantern out there. That said, it’s certainly sufficient for general campsite lighting or power outages, especially if you’re looking for area lighting rather than a spotlight. One feature I really liked is the ability to charge other devices, which adds real value in emergencies or off-grid situations. Overall, it’s a practical, versatile lantern that prioritizes portability and usefulness over raw brightness. Read more
This lantern is actually kind of awesome. The light is bright, and you have decent control over the color temperature. After only minimal charging, the lantern will light for several hours. It's sturdy and has a decent heft, but light enough to carry around. The telescoping head is great for using it as a lamp as well. The big bonus is the ability to plug in a USB device to power or charge. A great gadget for camping! Read more
There’s a reason this lantern is averaging 4.8 stars with 20 reviews. I largely agree with the buzz. It arrived exactly as described, and it’s a solid product overall. A standout feature for me is the telescopic rod—it helps elevate the light from a table or campsite surface, giving better coverage without fuss. The curved middle section on the handle also works well; it keeps the lantern hanging straight rather than tilting. The light output is what you’d expect from similar lanterns in this size—no surprises there. The stepless dimmer knob is easy to use, and I appreciate being able to dial between cool and warm lighting, or combine both for a bright yet pleasant glow. Pros • Accurately represented in listing • Telescopic rod improves light positioning • Stable, curved handle design • Smooth dimming knob and flexible light modes Cons • Standard light output—nothing game-changing • No solar charging or water resistance mentioned—could be great outdoors extras ⸻ Final rating: 4 stars ⸻ My Star Rating Guideline • 5 stars – Product is excellent and exceeds expectations. There could be minor issues or stylistic/personal preference mentioned in the review. • 4 stars – Very good product. There could be minor issues, but overall this meets expectations. • 3 stars – Average. The product works as expected, but does not stand out in any way. I still recommend the product for those that agree with the review and the value the product brings. • 2 stars – Significant problems or poor design. Might work for some, but overall not recommendable. • 1 star – Serious issues, does not function as expected, misleading, or potentially unsafe. Read more

I LOVE this LAMP. It's super cool with so many awesome features wrapped into a small package. The light itself sips batteries, and you can actually tap into the battery to get a little extra charge into a usb device or phone like a power bank. It has a dimming switch that allows easy operation and brightness control, and a simple, no-frills on-off button built into the switch. By pressing the switch, you toggle through three light temperatures. Though I don't know the exact colors, the appearance is yellow, daylight and then a hybrid where both the yellow and daylight lights are illuminated for a warm light that is in between. It has a handle, which would double as a hanger if you wanted to hang it from the tent, and then it can be raised up to a little under 2 feet tall if you want to set it on a table and make the light cover a larger area. It's a perfect camping lamp, emergency lamp, or even little decor lamp for a warm light. It's not as bright as an emergency flashlight would be, but it's a nice diffused light that would allow you to function in darkness. It punches way above its price range in terms of quality, functionality and features. Read more
I got this because of the recent power outages we have been having in GA due to the various storms. We needed it one night and it last a good couple of hours before it finally died. We were charging an iPhone, so I am not sure how much that played a part but it lasted long enough for us before the power came back on. The light is bright but not overbearing because it is more of an Edison bulb design, so it gives off good light but not blinding. I like that the brightness control is a knob, and if I were a camper, I would like how it feels like a real lantern. The design is really nice. I can keep it on my counter in the living room because it fits in with my decor. It looks like a premium product. Read more
