This light has been a great fit for how I actually live and travel. I spend a lot of time camping, traveling, and working in low-light situations, and I really appreciate gear that’s simple, reliable, and doesn’t require a learning curve. This checks all of those boxes. The light puts out a surprising amount of brightness for its size, and the touch control is straightforward—on, off, and easy dimming without fumbling with buttons. I like being able to dial the light exactly where I want it, whether I’m lighting up a small space, working out of the back of my vehicle, or just needing ambient light in the evening. The handle makes it very versatile. I’ve used it sitting on a flat surface, carried it by hand, and hung it where I needed light overhead. That flexibility matters when you’re moving between locations or working solo. It’s also lightweight enough to toss in a bag without thinking twice. USB-C charging is another big plus for me since most of my gear already uses the same cable. It charges easily and has been dependable so far. Overall, this is a well-designed, easy-to-use light that delivers a lot of illumination without unnecessary complexity. If you want a compact light that’s bright, intuitive, and practical for travel, camping, or general use around the house, this one is working very well for me. Read more
This little portable lantern is surprisingly bright for its size. I originally got it after we lost power recently and realized we didn’t really have a good light source other than candles, which isn’t ideal with young kids around. The brightness definitely lives up to the description because it lights up a room really well. It’s lightweight and the handle makes it easy to carry, so even my son likes walking around with it. I also like that it’s rechargeable, which makes it really convenient to keep stored for power outages, camping trips, or just having extra light outside at night. The build quality feels decent and the size makes it easy to stash in a drawer or emergency kit. The only thing I wish it had would be multiple brightness settings because there’s just one mode and it’s pretty strong. Still, it’s a really handy light to have around for emergencies or outdoor use. Read more
After getting hit with a major ice storm last month, we were out of power for over 10 days. We could not leave the house for several days, and we survived off of heat from our fireplace and wood we scavenged from all the trees and limbs that had fallen and ruined our property. It was not fun. I thankfully had plenty of batteries and candles and a couple of battery powered lanterns for light sources, but those were depleted by the time we got power on, so I have been trying to update our emergency supply of resources. This lantern is incredibly better than the battery powered ones I have. I love that its rechargeable, no batteries needed. It's also way brighter than I expected but can be dimmed as needed. It can sit flat on the table or hung. It's very lightweight. Overall, I am really happy with this little lantern, and it is a welcome addition to my emergency supplies! Read more
This camping light definitely has a super cute design that really appealed to my kids. It's quite portable, and the handle makes it very convenient to carry around, which is a plus when you're moving between tents or around a campsite. The touch controls are intuitive and easy to figure out, so there's no fumbling around to get it working. The rechargeable aspect is also nice in theory, meaning you don't have to constantly swap out batteries. However, the battery life itself is a bit disappointing; it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped for extended camping trips. My biggest complaint is the default brightness setting. When you turn it on, it's incredibly intense, which can instantly wreck your night vision, especially in a dark camping environment. It doesn't remember your last brightness setting either, so you have to manually adjust it down every single time you switch it on. Because of these brightness issues and the less-than-stellar battery life, I wouldn't call it optimal for true camping use. It works better for us as a nightlight with a battery backup at home, but for actual wilderness adventures, it falls a bit short. Read more
