After testing it for three nights in the Smokies and using it during one home power outage, it effectively replaced them all. The standout feature is the 37.8-inch telescopic height. This is such a cool and useful light lantern. Everything all in one. Love the fact that you have so many options. Extend up, out and the different mode of lightning. Cool, Warm lightning. I do take alot of pictures and need a small light and this fits the bill for that as well. Really really nice, I use it almost every day as a reading lamp.
