So far, it has worked great. Im surprised, as all the butane lighters I've purchased in the past have proved worthless, burned up after a short while. And I've had more than a few pricey Euro and Cuban brands, cigar accessories, that look and feel quite classy and high society, only to have it die a week or two later, just like the ghetto crap from the gas station. I just want one that performs, and has some integrity to the build quality. I do put it through the paces, currently burning webs of bag worms out of my evergreens, finding satisfaction, as when lit, the web and worms ignite like a fire starter fabric touched off by a phaser, happens so quickly, if you sneeze you've missed it. Fun, fun. This little thing here, projects a decent length flame, is compact and convenient, with a duration that lasts, 30 seconds maybe? I don't like to have it lit that long, I'm afraid it might burn out a critical part not really suited to prolonged 1000°F heat. And I like the new design, with fins at the nozzle, I assumed they were just an attempt to look like a Sith lightsaber, or to that effect, but besides adding stability to the cylinder body on a flat surface, the fins raise the lighter off the surface you set it on, necessary for avoiding damage go the desk, table, armrest, etc you lay it on after having it lit, reaching that 1000° burn, the front nozzle will remain hot (!), for an extended time after extinguished, fully capable of melting a countertop. Genius addition. I've had no issues with the refill function, it is simple to use, performs well, compact and weighs so little it becomes forgettable. An impressive little package, I have no complaints, no regrets. Nicely built little flame. Read more
I think this a good refillable torch lighter. The butane fuel I brought with it worked with the lighter. I had to fill it up at the bottom of it. I think it lights well. I think if the lighter gets really cold then it'll take a while for it to light a fire and stay on. I give it a 10 out of 10. Read more
It’s smaller IRL than I thought, shorter, so the tank doesn’t hold as much butane as I would like. To its credit, it’s very easy to see how much fuel is left in the glass window in the handle. I can actually see into the thing and it looks like the inside has a sort of Mylar lining or something reflective and this helps tremendously with the visibility. Of course that also means that the glass viewing thing is prone to breaking, cracking, and/or ultimately leaking, especially each time it’s accidentally knocked over, which is unsurprisingly not difficult to do given its shape. The valve on the bottom has a tiny thin little rubber ring around it that lets just hope it holds. The prongs are pointless unless you want a lighter with a diabolical look, at which this thing does a pretty good job. But it is windproof-ish and useful for cigars and getting blizzunts lit. Works for dabs, deemers and oil burners too. Read more
One of the best torch lighters I’ve had. Works every time. Definitely a must have. Reliable. Heavily trusted while I’m on the go. Read more
Thrilled with this lighter! It’s like a handheld torch and does a great job lighting things- even in the wind! Easy to fill and adjust. Very happy with my purchase. Read more
What a bummer. I bought one of these a while ago, works great, decided I'd better get a backup for when the zombies rule the streets. It came in and the slide switch is jammed, won't move, . That's a 50 % failure rate, suppose one needs to order two at time, to insure that one works. Read more
Worst torch lighter in my collection . Half the time it won't light , hard to use Read more
Bought this for my electrical kit for heat shrink tubing. The switch kind of sticks...almost feels like a locking function but i see no lock control/switch. Once i get it to work, it stops feeling like its locked and clicks on easily. Holds a lot of fuel too. Im not sure if i like the prongs and how they protrude past the end and around the flame. Seems like it would be better if they were shorter. Overall, this seems to be a great product aside from the locking switch issue. Would buy again. Read more
