I'm using this to connect my old N64 console to a modern 4K TV and it works great. Obviously the picture is not 4K resolution, but it looks pretty good and the best part is that it's not stretched like it has been with other converters I've used in the past. I appreciate that the adapter can be powered directly from the TV by plugging it into one of the USB ports. I'm happy I went with this model versus other options that were either over-designed and overpriced or lacked the 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio selector. Product was used to connect a Nintendo Wii to our new Samsung TV. Plugged it into tv, then connected it to power. Came right on and is working as it should. If you use it on the 16:9 it fits it to the tv (we have a 75”) and distorts the picture. With the click of the button on top, it switches to the 4:3. Which changes the size on the tv to use basically only have of the tvs size, centered on the screen. Once I did that it was clear and we were able to play with no issues. For the amount it cost for this item, so far it’s been worth it to introduce my daughters to the Wii gaming system. Read more

Does not work on any TV in my house. Samsung, Vizio, TCL. Plugged in old Nintendo and it hums and buzzes as of there is interference. Nintendo works just fine when plugged into an old VCR. Very frustrating. Lights up, shows as connected but won't produce any image. Tried a different device and it did the same thing. Junk of junk Read more
