What was best about this wrap was its width. These are a little wider than some other wraps. The width helps with it from stretching down too narrow since when you pull on them they narrow down. This means less winding and tendency from it wrinkling up too much. People keep assuming this is tape or bandaging...IT IS NOT. It is a primary layer before putting on fabric sports wrap, or even sports tape. Its a 'comfort' layer that provides cushioning and protection from a more supportive wrap. The prewrap is like a thin foam/sponge wrap. Like other wraps these grip onto itself well so it holds in place while you get your sports wrap on. I use these with my old boxing hand wraps when I occasionally hit the bag for some exercise. I used to use these without prewraps and i don't go long before they start irritating. Good wrap, colors are fine but they really just get covered most the time. Cost isn't bad. Its about the same per foot, but the wider wrap makes it a better buy.
