This is really high quality kinesiology tape. It's got gridlines on the back so you'll always get a straight cut or can shape it in certain ways to accommodate where you need to fit it. This Cannon tape has a back grid pattern for guidance in cutting and a standard water wave design. The biggest difference that I noted between this tape and traditional K-Tape is the size. This has a 4 inch wide profile. It also may be slightly more substantial than many K-Tapes on the market. This makes sense since it's designed to be used while playing football (or other field sports where turf burn is likely). The adherence of the tape was very good, and there was very little (if any) residue remaining upon removal of the tape. Update: as I have used this I have noticed a difference between this and other tapes I have used. It has a slightly different texture and feels different when being worn. I am still unsure whether the price for one 4” x 20’ roll at the time of this review of $13.99, is a good value, but I think it is a premium product in my opinion. I am staying at 4 stars but do recommend this for someone looking for something that seems to be different from the others, for comparison. I use kinesiology tape daily and like using the wide tape at times. The wide tape football turf tape - kinesiology tape from Cannon allows me to cut different fans and patterns into the single piece of tape. Doing this type of pattern would take several pieces of narrower tape, for comparison. I found this tape to be good quality and stay on well for daily use including bathing and showering. I typically change my tape every 2-3 days but it will stay on longer. This tape at the time of this review is $13.99 for one 4” wide x 20’ long roll. In my opinion, this price is on the high end. My Australian Rules Football team plays a tournament on turf every year, and turf burns are pretty common and pretty painful. This tape is a great solution. It's sturdy and wide for great coverage and protects us from burns without overheating us or restricting our movement. Read more

My son plays baseball and trains and plays on turf. Now is the time of year where they practice a ton of base running, sliding and dividing for balls. I love this stuff. It conforms to skin excellently, it sticks on skin excellently, stays on during rigorous movement, and comes off reasonably easily with very little residue (which can then come off with soap or rub something like baby oil or even vegetable oil if you have a stubborn spot on your skin). I like the 4" width which is much wider than you can get in most roles of kinesiotape. Read more

My kids are year round soccer players. They play on all types of fields, but in the winter they usually play indoor on turf fields. We've already learned the hard way that tuff burns are no joke and can do some damage. Since then they've been using turf tap. It helps protect their skin from burns. It is also comfortable to wear and doesn't interfere with their game. It has great hold, but also isn't too difficult to remove with proper technique. I highly recommend it. Read more

This isn't the best one I've ever used but it works really great. I always used the most expensive brand. I'm not going to say the brand name but they're expensive for a reason. I have yet to find a tape that beat them but this one comes very close. I'm tired of spending so much on this tape. Especially when I just sit at a desk all day so I can keep the tape on for a while.
