I love they rubber covered dumbells. They truly get the job done but won't destroy your floors if you drop it. They are reasonably comfortable with knurling to keep your hand in place. Mind you, you may want to use gloves if you don't like "man hands", I.E. some callousing around your grip. The only issue, which is moot after a day or two, is the rubber smell after unpacking. Just like what you would find in a store except these are way cheaper. Quality is great and they feel sturdy. In the past I bought from Walmart online and they ship the weights without any protective coating and you get banged up damages weights. Amazon really knows how to ship items way better. Read more

Got a 5 lb pair for my beginner workout for the exercises where I can't use the 10 lb ones. Comfortable, well balanced, good grip even without gloves. Very happy I didn't go with the "women" neoprene version and stuck with a tried and true design. Read more

These are gym quality. I've purchased cheaper weights before, and they usually aren't as heavy as they should be. These also don't bang on the floor when they are released like the full metal ones do, so that makes them really good for flooring that isn't carpet. Read more

These barbells are some of the toughest ones I’ve ever used or seen. They are steel and hard black rubber. You would have to use a sledgehammer to destroy them. They’re excellent barbells. Read more
