Super easy to install if you bought the accompanying power rack. Easily adjustable, and it's big enough where you have a lot of free space to bail on; it honestly saved me a few times. It's also super sturdy, I put 315 on it for RDLs and it held it pretty well. It does sometime get misaligned when you throw the weight on it. It doesn't scratch with since it has a protective layer on it. Read more

This is a decent rack! I don’t bench more than 45lb plates on each side of the barbell so for me it works great! I’m so happy I don’t have to wait around at the gym anymore for weights. Without weights it doesn’t feel a hundred percent sturdy but once you store plates on it, it doesn’t move :) I was also able to hang from the top bar and it held me up great and I weigh 200lbs. It’s a nice rack and it’s nice to look at! One side of the rack has storage for weights and the other side is to store your barbell. Ease of assembly? Idk because my dad built it but he did it himself with no complaints :) Read more

First, there is confusion about whether this rack can handle 300 or 500 lbs. The answer is it depends on what model you purchase. At the time of my purchase, the black model was model 705 and cost $85 while the others are model 905 and cost $120. The 905 does support 500/750 lbs. The 705 is 300/300. If you want more than 300lbs as described in the page pictures make sure you pick the color you want and check that the item description section bellow the pictures says 905 as the model. This review is for the 905 models. The rack was easy to assemble. It took me 45 minutes to get it finished and all holes lined up. There were some scratches in the finish. I can't tell if they were made during manufacturing or shipping but they don't affect the overall look or function. The frame feels solid and well made even though it is just under 70lbs. This is impressive given that this will handle 500lbs in a bar. The pullup bar also feels "safe" and the frame doesn't shake much when used. The unit has the option to be bolt down if needed. For $120 and able to handle 500lbs, this is a great entry-level or for an experienced lifter who wants something with a low profile and doesn't want to be limited to 300lbs. Now to the things I didn't like and why it is 4 stars and not 5. The weight catches feel well-engineered but they have no padding or protection against the bar. The paint will be flaking off easily if a bar with texture is used. As others have done, I recommend adding some thin carpet of rubber so that the finish is protected. Don't put something too thick or slippery though as that will make it less safe. The adjustment holes are well placed but are 1/2 inch. This is making finding accessories almost impossible. Other manufacturers of similar models have spotter arms and replacement catches as well as a weight holding arms available. While not perfect, this is still a great buy for the price and will do the job. I recommended it. Read more

I bought this a bit hesitant of the reviews but so far I’m extremely satisfied with it. Im about 5’11, 215 lbs and am able to do pull ups just fine with a bit of a bend of the legs. Some people reported it to be wobbly which I will say it is does move when you try to re-rack the weight too aggressively at the end of a set. However that can be easily resolved by just adding a weight on the bottom. On one of the corners there’s a post to slide your plates so just add a plate there and that wobble goes away. It was pretty easy to set up. Out the package it might look a bit intimidating but it’s quite simple. I’ve been using it everyday and it’s going strong. For the price, I think it’s worth the money. Sturdy, compact, practical, and stable. Looks nice too. I could swing a bit on the pull up bar and it didn’t budge a bit. I did not try purposefully swinging about a crazy amount because the room it’s in is small and there are windows. It took me about 2 hours to put together not because it’s was difficult to understand, there were simply a fair amount of steps. I am very happy with the quality and results as this is a great help to being a beginning weightlifter although my ultimate goal is to bulk up and buy a Smith Machine (which costs much more) and take this outside to have more unrestrained fun with the pull-up bar. A+ +++++ I'll add reviews of the add-ons to this product here, as and if I buy them. a) Cap Barbell Safety Catches / Spotter Arms I got the red ones as red is a warning color and reminder. They are heavy duty, painted with thick enamel, and have no rust. The thin rubber pads on the top surface are glue to the painted metal and mostly stuck, but not completely, no problem though as they were screwed into the safety catches so they won't come off regardless. I'm happy they were available as I am weak and have no spotter. These are a must to protect me. Read more

This is an excellent product. We originally purchased it so my older son could use it for hanging exercises at home instead of going to the gym, and it has held up remarkably well. It has been outdoors for the past three years and still shows almost no signs of wear. We use it even more now after adding a bench for bench presses, and it continues to look and perform like new. I was so impressed with the quality that I went on to purchase additional CAP equipment, including barbell weights and a bar. Highly recommended. Read more
