This rack is excellent quality—sturdy, well-sized, easy to assemble. There’s just the right amount of space between shelves. The steel is very thick. It won’t knock over. Because the legs don’t have feet, the weight is evenly distributed over the largest area. It fits just under a standard-height table or desk. And for the price, it’s a great deal, and would be a great deal at (literally) twice the price. I added some stick-on 1” neoprene to reduce noise. I might drill a few holes to add weight storage. This is all around excellent. I may buy a second. Read more

I was a bit hesitant to buy this based on some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I did! It's exactly what I was looking for and finally gets my weights off the floor. Unlike some reviews, instructions really aren't necessary. It's easy to tell how to assemble it just by looking at the parts that I barely glanced at them. Yes, it requires a bit of muscle to assemble (but it wasn't that bad) and I was able to do it myself without a second person. I used a plier wrench and the provided allen wrench. This rack is sturdy and excellent quality. Doesn't wobble, even on carpet. Far above what I expected for the price. I also followed the advice of other reviews, and flipped the bolts to face outwards. This gives more storage space and my weights won't get damaged by the threads of the bolts. Very happy with this purchase! Read more

I’ll be detailed because I know I was looking for detailed reviews myself before I bought this! Lol. It took 7 days to arrive and all of the pieces/hardware were accounted for. Pretty straightforward pieces and instructions. But we quickly found out that the lugnuts were actually LOCKnuts, which seemingly stopped the screw from going as far as it needed to to hold the pieces flush together. (You can see the gap in the picture). Locknuts are MUCH tighter, so using just the little Allen wrench did not move it at all. We had to use pliers to hold the locknut in place while turning the screw with the Allen wrench. It was a very tight fit, but finally worked. It took about 45 minutes altogether. And in using the pliers, it chipped the paint, which isn’t a huge deal. The manufacturer’s sticker was very large and difficult remove from the stand, but again if that doesn’t bother you then just leave it. Once put together it looks good! It’s fairly heavy and seems sturdy so far! It fits a good amount of smaller weights. For reference, we have a set of 5’s, 8’s (one is missing but would fit!) and 10’s on top. And then a set of 15’s and 25’s on bottom. Read more

This is an honest review of the Cap dumbbell rack. Pros: Footprint/Size is smaller than a traditional 3-tier dumbbell rack, meaning this is a great option if you only have a few dumbbells or are short on space, or simply want a smaller option. The rack is rock solid and held together by heavy-duty nuts and bolts. I wouldn’t worry about any weight concerns at all. Opportunities: None. This is a great rack. Overall: If you’re in the market for a small dumbbell rack, you really cannot go wrong with this one. We purchased it specifically for my son’s bedroom. Read more

We use this to store cast iron hex dumbbells from 10 to 30 lbs. The 10’s, 15,s and 20’s fit on the top rack. 25’s and 30’s fit on the bottom, with room underneath to keep 35’s and 40’s on the floor. It’s a tight fit, and it might not work if you have rubber clad dumbbells, but it’s perfect for our purposes. Very sturdy and easy to assemble, but you will need a legit wrench, not just the Allen key that comes in the part bag. Read more

Good quality and sturdy rack. It was easy to put together, just followed the illustrations. Some parts were already assembled which was a plus. It was smaller than I expected but I was still able to fit the weights I needed to. I will most likely buy another one when I buy more weights. Read more

The stand is very sturdy once assembled. Can't hold a ton, but the measurements are clear. We have 2x25 and 2x30 on the top rack. It's a bit shorter than I pictured, but again all the measurements are as advertised. Gets the dumbells organized and off the ground! Read more
